I dreamt of a timer I could use every day that would simplify time and make the most of every moment it counted.

Inspired by the simple egg timer, Timer more honestly represents time as a single dimension. No hours or seconds—just minutes. There's nowhere to get lost. Scroll to set. Tap to start. Get back to life.

STOPWATCH & OVERSHOOT
When time expires, it doesn't stop at 0. Timer flips and begins to count up. This turns out to be pretty useful if you missed the alarm and don't know how much time has elapsed or if you cook and just need another minute without the hassle of setting another timer. Or scroll down to 0, tap, and it becomes a stopwatch ready to measure any length of time.

This is really great. Minimalist, easy, and makes a great aesthetic if that’s what you’re into. However, the alarm will only play on headphones if they are connected, and there is no option to have a really large timer more than an hour thirty. Also, no option for seconds. For a good timer right now, I’d use the clock app. For a visually appealing timer, I’d use this.

I would like to be able to select the timer by hours, not minutes. e g: after 59 minutes, instead of 60 minutes to say 1h etc. Also, make it more than 90 minutes and add support for live activities so the timer can go into the Dynamic Island. If all of this suggestions would be added to this app, I will happily use it like the other apps (!weather, !vibes)

You can’t select your own exact time for timer. Have to scroll through and select by one minute
Increments. Which is fine I guess. But the problem is that the widget doesn’t work. They make a widget that has 5/15/30 and you can select a timer
Right from your Home Screen. But it doesn’t actually start the timer if you already had the app open and had stopped a different timer. It just opens the app to where you were. I’d much rather have a boring app that works!! Especially when you want me to pay for a premium app. It better at least be functional.

I adore the !Boring apps, and have actually gotten a subscription that covers all of them. They’re gorgeous and functional and I love that I can now replace the default icons on the pull down menu with icons for them. I do however have one issue with this app in particular… it only allows timers of 90 minutes or less. I have medication that requires 2 hour timers, and this does make using the app for these things more difficult. I hope that the developers continue to improve on their product and consider the option of longer timers to make it more functional. Overall, for anything in that above time span, it’s great and I totally recommend it.

this may be the least intuitive app I’ve ever used. I opened it, it started an immediate 10 second countdown, and I can’t figure out anywhere to sit how much time I want. The “quick guide” is just a list of five FAQ’s, with no instruction guide anywhere. So I’ve spent money on this app, with no idea how to use it.
