iCloud sync unreliable
Syncing via iCloud does not work
Can’t edit notes
Stupid app. U have to pay to edit your notes. Don’t download cause u can’t use the app for what it’s suppose to be used for. At least allow editing in notes greedy people.
Love to use this… if not for the time limit.
I get it. Since this is a good app, you gotta restrict a few things that free users can’t get a hold of, but that doesn’t mean setting up a time limit like some sort of parent to a six year old! I’m just trying to be as productive as possible, and to cramp all this work into one page, when suddenly I get the message that my time limit is up! Really frustrated. But, the quality is AMAZING and the lasso tool is really good! I would prefer this over many more apps. I you are interested into using this for a while, then the free version is useless.
Lost files
After using this app for work and hobbies, all files have disappeared.
Trust is gone
This used to be an application I loved and could rely on. The iCloud sync issues that have been introduced in recent updates have removed any trust I once had so I can’t recommend buying this app. I have a large library of notes and randomly they will all be deleted from my iPad and I need to sync completely from scratch rendering the application unusable for days. The impact on my business is significant. The icloud sync is painfully slow. The developer responds to requests for assistance but just provides generic responses with no true understanding of the problem people are encountering or the desire to investigate further. Don’t waste your money if you intend to use this application in any business scenario.
Too buggy
App crashes suddenly even when trying to add new note. What a mess
grid lines overlay for general use and PDFS
hey I love using the app and it’s very useful but I would like to see a function where you can use a grid overlay or grid lines which are transparent so it can assist in my writing when I’m using PDFs or other material.
Ruined, usage limit??
Why break the unbroken? $23 for services that used to be $3 in 2021? iCloud syncing is terrible, the new UI is impossible to navigate, and the prices are ridiculous. I’m switching to good notes. Update: Just found out about the note ‘usage limit’. Immediately deleted the app. Fix this.
Notability
Notability is a great app. However, it has a main flaw. You have to pay a subscription to get unlimited notes. (Unless you’re at school). If there were a subscription option of getting a lifetime version, it would be better. But with the flaws out of the way, it is a really good app. It constantly gets updates, it is really smooth and it is very aesthetically pleasing.
