I’ve used Notability intensively in the distant past but had reason to look up the notes made during post graduate courses. Despite the move to subscription my notes remain completely intact and I can carry on as before Would I subscribe now if I was coming to Notability afresh? Yes, as long as I could stop subscribing after several years and keep whatever features were paid for during my subscription period. There is a permanence about Notability that’s reassuring.
Can't use app, constantly crashes which is so frustrating
From drawing to taking notes Notability has it all.
Great all round and very easy to use — especially useful for storing and organising notes. No complaints!!
Great but pencil needs work. It keeps changing thickness and this doesnt seem to be dependent of apple pen pressure nor angle
I wanted to make a cute little journal thing, nothing big, but only a few paragraphs later, I’m expected to pay money? There is no use downloading it for free, if your just going to pay money later. So hard to order things, hard to download fonts and pretty terrible all together. Don’t download if you don’t want to pay money.
I have tried several of the apps and Notability still stands out. Goodnotes is the only competitor. The addition of transcripts is positive for me.
Paid for app. Can’t restore classic. Can’t be bothered to jump through hoops. Deleted. Thanks.
The actual app itself is flawless, its incredibly useful to write and draw with and has plenty of useful features to use at your disposal not to mention its incredibly easy to use as well, me and my friends have used it a lot for my uni work and have never been disappointed, the one thing i would love to see in the toolbox however is a fill tool so u are able to draw abstract shapes free hand and fill them in with a dedicated tool. Also the ability to select an object using the selection tool and change its x and y scales, i love how when u change its size the overall dimension are locked and scaled down accordingly but it is limited to that only, if points on the selection box were added on the selection box in the centre of the edges to change the x and y scales of a selected item would definitely give a bit more freedom, a bit like how Microsoft word selection works, but keeping the dimensions locked when using the corners, both of these would add more degrease of freedom when editing, note taking and doodling
Best note taker easy to use.
