Great app!

iCloud ruins everything

Open Notability. Start a new note. Switch to another app. Open Notability again. Cannot open note because it is being downloaded from iCloud. Wait. Wait. Wait. Give me a break.

you have to pay for unlimited edits and have to wait for it replenish if you don’t pay

Personally think if you make an app dedicated for students to use this as a way to take notes there should be a different system for paying. For example you have to subscribe to use templates and only get the basic ones in the gallery while than making there be unlimited edits for free users. Also could make it to you can pay for other tools.

Super laggy

New update made the lag from my Apple Pencil to writing so incredibly lagged and it is so incredibly frustrating writing notes.

Absolutely hate the new update July 2024

I have been using Notability since 2016 and I have never quite hated an update this much. I use the app to keep track of my crafting/cooking patterns as downloaded from various sites. This has always been a somewhat smooth experience and I have about 25 separate subject files for my 612 notes. After the most recent update I now have no subject files and all my notes are listed as unfiled and lumped together in one folder. The amount of time it will take me to sort these files back into their subject files is incalculable. I am seriously wondering if I wouldn’t be better off finding a different app that won’t mess my organization up. I have been reading other users’ complaints about various issues with updates in the past and I was fortunate to not have those same problems as I was using the app differently, however I am wondering why, when it wasn’t broken, the developers felt the need to “fix it”?

I’ve been using Notability for years and love it so much. It just keeps getting better. Thank you for such a great product. It is intuitive and reliable.

Paid version

I converted from Free to Paid just to support this app. It’s great. Although Apple apps are coming close in terms of functionality, this app has some unique features that make work related note taking more “pro” like.

It’s great

I downloaded this app for college and there’s so many templates and neat things you can do with them. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews if there even are any, there’s so many cool tools to use as well and it’s only 14 something a year which is really convenient for a College student as myself. JUST DOWNLOAD IT IF YOUR READING THE REVIEWS TRUST MEEE!!!

Slow

So bad and slow even after I purchased! Note that I’m so old user and bought it when it was 10$ only .. it’s not about the money tho .. I can’t take it anymore, doubling my notes every time I synapse with icloud and take sooo much storage 😡
