Note Trainer is designed to help train your ability to read music. It is aimed at beginners, music students, musicians and anyone interested in musical reading. Note Trainer includes exercises reading musical notes and musical chords.

Exercise levels range from beginner to advanced. Note Trainer will guide you and recommend exercises to help you gradually improve your skills. More advanced users can focus on different areas of the application or select to start training at a higher level.

When an exercise is complete the users' statistics are saved allowing them to track their progress and easily return to areas that need more training. Note Trainer indicates when a user is ready to move on to the next exercise.

Excellent trainer

All the basic tools you need to study and learn music, no fancy business, just plain and clean

Great app

Really great app, improved my sight-reading a lot since I started using it, within a short period of time. Only suggestion for improvement: other type of timekeeper, so you can set records - and try to beat your own time. But that's a detail, as I said, really great and effective app. Wrote the above some time ago, was told timekeeper would be added. Not happened yet☹️. But still using it and still improving, thanks a lot!!!!

Learning to read music

Be warned that you won't find any melody. So it's just and only recognising names of tones or at the piano. It's not meant for singers so to say.

The best so far.

To see and hear the notes as they are identifies is really good. The ability to read ahead and anticipate movement and placement is good fun Seeing, hearing and identifying intervals is Inbuilt if not deliberately so. A toggle between note names and solfege would be useful to would be singers. This app is worth buying , it's fun and easy to use. If you made an app to do the same for chord identification I would buy it too.
