## Noteshelf Reviews in United States

### ***** "Best note available by far"
I tried different ones but Noteshelf is the best notebook available
-- fonta09, 2025-01-02

### ***** "Just what I was looking for"
Awesome handwriting recognition, and customizable -
-- jmontoto, 2025-01-01

### ***** "Still 5 Stars, but. . ."
I am still giving this app 5 stars because I use it everyday and I couldn’t imagine my routine without it. I love that I can import a pdf and write all over it! I love the simplicity of pens/highlighters. I love that I have over 10 years of stored notes that are searchable! But. . . they’ve added so many features, it’s getting more difficult to navigate. I understand that people want the moon, and in trying to accommodate for everyone’s wishes, one ends up with way too many choices and simple note-taking is no longer simple. I agree with a previous reviewer. I’d like to go back to #2. Anyway, thanks for a great, I know how hard it can be to make everyone happy.

### *---- "Forgotten Customer"
It's been sometime since Noteshelf 3 was developed. I just decided to write my review as I had to retrieve something from Noteshelf 2. I used Noteshelf almost from its origination, Noteshelf 1 and 2. I used it for everything, and referred many customers and students to use it. However, when they went to Noteself 3, they cut me off. MyMacBook Pro 2016 is IOS version 12.6 Monterey. When they upgraded one must have version 13. Well I wasn't going to spend $1800 to be able to them when my computer is still great. Therefore I changed to a different program. As I
use it, I'm finding it may be better than Noteshelf 3, or at least comparable.
I rated it a one just to make you aware when they decide to upgrade again, which they do every few years, be aware you might be cut off, too. Suggestion, don't put everything into one app even
if app meet all your current needs.

### *---- "Not Happy with App and will request refund"
I just purchased the premium version. I have utilized many apps for writing, journals, articles etc. but this app is just not user friendly. I finally stumbled upon some help at settings which really was not too helpful. A navigation tutorial or a real help section would be very useful especially for a new user. I tried to find out how to insert date and time but was unsuccessful. I have used Notebooks app which is so easy but I needed an app for a PDF file without having to pay for a subscription for just one basic file. Everything I have done so far has been hunt and guess. My PDF file locked up the next day. I had to delete and start again. Not very happy about this.
-- Catarific, 2024-12-29

### *---- "DON’T USE IT"
I lost all my work notes. Files damaged. Out of the blue.
-- I dont like sexism, 2024-12-28

### *---- "Be careful!"
I used versions 1 and 2 for years with no problems. I downloaded version 3 and used it for a major important meeting. All notes disappeared off my iPad and no luck recovering even with support help. User Beware. I recommend taking some unimportant notes and either print them or check and make sure they don’t disappear after a few days. If you feel confident after that you can entrust with more important content.
-- KBkeepTRIing, 2024-12-27

### ***-- "Blurry"
I like this app. Only issue is it get blurry when scroll up or down specially if page has some pictures.
-- NishuKhowaja, 2024-12-25

### ***** "Love it! One of my most used apps!"
I’ve been using Noteshelf 2 and now Noteshelf 3 for several years. It is my most used app! There’s so many templates to use or you can use your own custom pages and covers. Easy to use and really can’t thing of anything negative to say.
-- keeper of my life, 2024-12-23

### ***** "Best pens and handwriting support"
Overall the app is excellent, it is easy to use and I use it both for work and personal note taking and journaling.

Where it really stands out is in the quality of the pens. Writing in Noteshelf is far superior to the three other notetaking apps I tried. I am a stickler for a good pen in my paper journals. The pens in Noteshelf made me stick with it even though there are other apps with more features. The handwriting is closer to a paper experience.

Note that recent updates have closed the gap with other apps a lot.
