I want to love it

BrandonTyler024 on

But considering that it could take hours to sync an event added to GCal, it becomes quite hard for me to love it.

Good App but Needs Some More

the young man far from home on

I use this to monitor all my non-work related calendars and it find it very useful but the lack of a dedicated iPad app makes this harder to use for productivity and that is very disappointing. Hoping there will be an update for iPad isn’t the future.

Great idea, but can’t be trusted

Events don’t save about 10% of the time I use this, which defeats the purpose of a calendar.

No Google Calendar

free shavocado!!! on

I like this app but think it doesn’t make sense to only be able to sign into Notion Calendar with a Google account. Wouldn’t it make more sense to also be able to log in with your notion account? We have to do lists in Calendar form so I rather see all that information transferred into the notion calendar rather than my google calendar. I also wish I could see the categories I added to organize my to do list integrated in Notion Calendar so that everything is more organized by category as well as color. Speaking of color, I shouldn't have to make a whole to system on notion to change the color depending on the type of task I am doing. Lastly I think a check box should be added as well.

Great tool on desktop, it is horrible on iPad

mcgurme on

This is a great app on the desktop, I use it frequently. Then, whenever I try using it on the iPad, which is a working machine for me, I run into major limitations. The Notion Calendar App is designed for the iphone screen only. That looks and works ridiculously on a 13” iPad pro. So then, I try to access it using the web app at notion.calendar.so. Because it’s a mobile device, for some reason Notion forwards me to my regular notion account, rather than just showing the calendar. The Notion team really doesn’t seem to “get” mobile use. I wish they would. I love Notion, and I could love Notion Calendar, but the limitations they’ve imposed for years on Mobile use are becoming extremely frustrating. I have repeatedly considered moving my team over to a different platform because of this. I haven’t pulled the trigger on such a move yet (because it would be disruptive), but if Notion doesn’t get it together and more fully support mobile platforms like the iPad, I will reach the breaking point and cancel our thousands of dollars per year subscription. Please Notion team, if you’re not going to spend the time to develop a full-fledged IpadOS app, at least don’t block us from using the web version!! Why would you do that? It makes no sense whatsoever.

Improving by the day

Love this app. Use it both on mobile and desktop. I just wish the mobile app would load the calendars faster and that it would sync the changes I make to the desktop or google calendar without having to launch the app.

One glaring oversight

Cma1887 on

I like this app enough, and it’s serviceable. But why doesn’t the app icon on iOS change to show the correct date?!? It’s insane

No iPad app

BrainjackMedia on

No iPad support. Just uses the mobile app. Please for the love of god make an iPad version of the app.

Monthly View in Calendar

akevb on

Can we please get the simple feature of monthly calendar view? 3 days at a time is not enough. It's crazy to have to use Google calendar app just to see a monthly of a calendar. Honestly enough for me to just use Google calendar entirely again. This needs to be included asap.

Not available for IPad screen

Heytherepeter on

It’s fine on the phone, but doesn’t adapt for the iPad screen .
