Notion, imo, is a highly purposeful and flexible tool which gets the job done and saves users the need to subscribe to multiple SaaS subscriptions. There are just two issues I have with the app; the first being its highly flexible design which can cause users to spend more time building and designing their systems than actually using these systems, speaking from experience. I feel Notion designers should spend more time adding constraints to prevent users from getting lost “tweaking” instead of “using.” Secondly, it has a steep learning curve for beginners, making it quite difficult for some remote teams to embrace or get equipped with in a short time.

It took a while to get me back after being initially overwhelmed. I spent hours navigating and watching YouTube videos on how to go about this multidimensional world. And it’s been beautifully seamless and efficient ever since. Great work!

This is one of the most productive app I’ve ever written. Very simple to use yet it has all the functionalities.

There is a huge downward curve from the Notion experience on desktop, that one expects to be replicated on the iPad, but it only gets more frustrating when one tries to understand what’s going on. -Edit Capabilities are Limited, Slow loading of pages, and most importantly, -No Compatibility with the Apple Pencil; I use a Gen 2 Pencil and the number of random scribbles that turn up on my notion page is alarming. Using the pencil leaves nothing but lines, and streaks of “I”s and “L”s around documents. Is the Pencil to select items? Does it write? What exactly can I use my pencil for on this app? This was quite a disappointing experience. For an App that seeks to integrate into the Lifestyle of users, this experience needs to be better, as across Reddit pages and on Social Media, we acknowledge that the experience cannot be identical across devices, but why shouldn’t it be?

This app is so cute, absolutely love the interface it’s really easy to work with and I can put all my thoughts in one place. Love it!

An excellent job well done. Just need some little improvements to make it more seamless such as making it possible to delete multiple embedded files and templates by selecting them rather than deleting one after the other which is time consuming. This is my go to app for documentation and more. The best in what they do. Thanks for this amazing development.
