## Now Be Happier Description
The Now Be Happier app is the core tracking tool used in the Now Be Happier System to measure your Happiness Score, identify specific opportunities to increase happiness and monitor your progress in the short term, medium term and long term.

The Now Be Happier System is built on the concept that happiness is defined by what you do with your time. Every waking moment falls into one of three categories, plus sleep:

INVEST: Time during which you’re engaged in an activity that you enjoy that does not cause harm.

SPEND: Time during which you’re engaged in an activity that you do not enjoy but would cause harm if you didn’t do it.

WASTE: Time during which you’re engaged in an activity that causes harm to you, others or the environment.

SLEEP: Sleep.

The Now Be Happier app’s core functions are simple:

1. With one tap, you record which of the four states you’re starting.
2. The app automatically calculates your current Happiness Score using a simple formula and displays your Current Score, updated every second.
3. You name the activities of SPEND time and WASTE time.
4. The app automatically generates your Opportunity Table, which identifies and quantifies your opportunities to reduce SPEND time and WASTE time so you can maximize INVEST time.
5. The app automatically tracks and displays your progress in 21-day cycles so you can monitor your life and make adjustments.
6. You can pause tracking when you want time away from measurement. Short pauses allow you to continue the same cycle. Longer pauses preserve the completed portion as a Partial cycle. Pausing during Day 21 completes the cycle, and the next cycle begins after you resume tracking and select a category.

The Now Be Happier app is practical for improving your life in the short term, medium term and long term when used according to the Now Be Happier System.

The app was designed with the following additional benefits:

1. MINIMIZES the time the app is open, typically less than five minutes per day. It takes only a few seconds to tap Invest, Spend, Waste or Sleep, and usually less than a minute to name each Spend or Waste activity.
2. No ads.
3. Privacy: Your data is yours. No data is transferred off your smartphone other than through your phone’s backup system.
4. Takes up very little memory.

Simple to use. Built to show you the truth about your life so you can:

Measure. Improve. Transform.
