## now8 ODS Description
now8 ODS is an in-store order preparation and order status display app for now8-powered operations.

Designed for quick service restaurants and counter-service environments, now8 ODS receives confirmed POS orders and accepted or paid Kiosk orders, giving staff a focused iPad workflow for preparing orders without extra back-office tools.

Staff can view incoming orders, claim orders, mark individual items ready, and mark the full order ready for pickup. A dedicated Order Status Display mode shows customer-facing order numbers grouped by status, including Order Received, Being Prepared, and Ready for Pickup.

The display mode is read-only and privacy-conscious. It shows only public order numbers and does not expose customer names, phone numbers, invoice details, line items, staff names, or other identifying information.
