If I multi select lots of files, I used to be able to click the share sheet, however this is now gone and I can only get it to appear when long pressing on a single file one at a time -- PaulRWD, 2025-02-16 ### ***** "Excellent. Really outstanding media player." Feb 2025. Bought 2 Soundcore speakers with Partycast facility to link them together. As single speakers, there is no Bluetooth delay (latency). However linked together through Partycast there is a very noticeable time delay causing major lipsync issues. This is a known Anker Soundcore problem. I just can’t handle it. On the off chance I looked at nPlayer options and there it is. Delay adjustment! Brilliant. Better still, it remembers what adjustment you made by Bluetooth device. So my old single speaker, that doesn’t experience Bluetooth delay, is set at the default of 0. So it recognises what Bluetooth device is connected and uses any settings that you put in. I really love this app. I have tried a few apps to access my Kingston Mobilelite wifi card reader. Only a few did and this is the best by far. It can access media on the ipad/iphone from the wifi drive, plus it can access from cloud drives such as Google drive, Dropbox etc. All sorts of media files can be viewed/played - even .wmv videos and iPhone 6s Plus 4g .mov videos. It also allows you to play the Dolby sound track when available. This really improves sound quality. This is a media player, so it won't read PowerPoint files etc. However it is in my experience, the best of it's type by some distance. Finally, the update previous to this latest one crashed on launch. Apparently it was because I was still using IOS5 (to retain Google Maps integration with the operating system). I contacted them and they responded by email within days. It took a while for them to fix it but they were true to their word. It's up and running again. So good marks on service. By the way, now using iPhone 6s Plus and everything still operating smoothly. Definitely worth downloading. Ps. Playing some music just now and mistakenly hit the speed button. Went from from x 1.0 through x 1.2 to x 1.6. Tempo increased but the vocals and music remained in-pitch. Just like asking a band to play your favourite song at a higher tempo. How does nPlayer do that? Tried it the other way by slowing down the track to ballad speed and again, remained in-pitch. Amazing! Also just watched a film. Quite dark as so many film are. Moved my finger up and down the screen and saw that I could adjust the screen brightness without having to stop the film and go to iPad settings. They seem to have thought of everything. It does what it is supposed to and solidly. Enough options to control decoder, eq etc and clear layout with good controls. I reported a bug a few days ago and it’s already fixed. Great app, you won’t look back once you start using this. Only one request: if I’m watching a series for example with dual audio where the second audio is a commentary for example. It would be great if you can set an option so that consecutive videos in a folder would maintain the same track settings rather than having to set it each episode as you watch through them. I have a couple of servers on my network which nPlayer used to be able to connect to without any problems but I had to rebuild my ipad a couple of months ago and reinstall the app - since then it can't find the servers while other video players can.
