NS&I has been supporting UK savers for over 160 years, and we’re the only savings provider backed by HM Treasury. That means your money is 100% secure, no matter how much you have saved with us.

View your NS&I accounts, all in one place
- You can see the accounts you manage, plus any you manage for someone else, such as a child.
Check your transactions
- Your transaction history, including any pending payments, are all available in the app.
View your Premium Bonds prize history
- Check to see if you’ve won a prize in the monthly Premium Bonds prize draw.
Find details to add money to your accounts
- You’ll find all the info you need to make a bank transfer or set up a standing order to your accounts.

Getting started
- You’ll need an NS&I account, such as Premium Bonds or a Direct Saver, and be registered for our online and phone service.
- If you’re not yet registered for our online and phone service, visit nsandi.com/online-registration.
- We’ll ask you for your NS&I number and password the first time you set up the app. After a few simple steps, you’ll be able to log in next time quickly and securely with biometrics.

This app is little more than a screenshot of your account and has almost zero functionality. You can’t see full account details or transactions. I can’t download a statement. Compared to other banking apps it’s pretty pointless.

As I said in the title, this App is the worst one I have ever used. I am stuck in an endless cycle of log ins and security, only for it to crash and start the process again. The furthest I’ve ever got is to glimpse my balances, before it crashes and I need to log back in. The website is mildly better, but very similar.

You can basically view your account - that’s it. You can’t withdraw money and if you log in online despite answering security questions correctly you may find yourself locked out anyway and have to wait for them to reset your password by post! By post! Maybe this is what makes it’s such a secure place to save your money, even account holders struggle to get in. On the plus side it looks nice - it just needs to do more and join the current generation of simple security protocols used by other financial services apps.

All this does is show your account details. You can’t transfer funds between accounts, withdraw money or pay anything in. There is an “Add money” button but this just displays your account details and tells you to send them to your bank.

Completely pointless unless you just need to check your balance.

Basically, everytime I update my phone, the NS&I app needs to be reinstalled and then everytime I press continue it says ‘Try again later.’ so then I try again later and then it says the same thing over and over again. Considering i’ve got some money tied into my account - this worries me that should something go wrong, I won’t be able to get it back out.

Just like our governments other apps. Featureless, very basic, slow and worse than that, this app doesn't even load on data or WiFi 

If you can't make an app worth using then just delete it from the store

Why am I forced to use the bruiser to read messages? Either create a proper app or do away with it altogether

What an appalling waste of time.  A dreadful app that still hasn’t been updated after the previous comment over a YEAR ago.  Continually unable to complete any transaction other than occasionally actually getting to view the account before both the app or the website crashes.  This is the case using both an iPhone or iPad.  Don’t suppose this review will make a blind bit of difference as quite clearly the fault still hasn’t been rectified a year after being reported.  Totally unimpressed and unacceptable.  For goodness sake get it sorted out.

I have this on an iPad, with it's own SIM Card, which works with no problem using other bank Apps, Browsers, GP surgery websites, etc.
When I try to set this App up it says it cannot do it, as it is not connected to the Internet. Yet the Mobile Data settings show the App is enabled and allowed to access the internet.
If it cannot work it is not worth any stars at all. But you have to give a minimum of one star to submit the review.

I could actually log in for a few months. 

But now it’s back to the get started page when I open it. And then when I try and login it says I’ve reached my device limit. This is the only device I’ve ever installed the app on. Awful.
