nugs Subscription Payment and Auto-Renewal Terms:
nugs offers auto-renewing monthly and annual subscriptions to stream music from the nugs catalog.
2 subscription types are available, each with two tiers: monthly (30 days) and annual (365 days). All subscriptions auto-renew.
A nugs monthly subscription is $12.99 per month or $119.99 per year for new users. Plans auto-renew at $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year after the first year.  A nugs Hi-Res monthly subscription is $24.99 per month and the yearly subscription is $249.99 per year.
Payment will be charged to the iTunes Account at the time of your purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Accounts will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.

The content is great. The UI needs some reworking but it’s navigable. Here’s where I’ve given up and want my $ back. I use Apple AirPlay to play shows through my Roku Ultra. Nugs consistently drops the signal after 55 seconds and makes it useless to play at home. I’ve updated the app, updated Roku firmware, restarted both devices. This is just how these devices work together. I could buy additional devices - AppleTV, Chromecast… but I don’t want to get into buying add-ons to support this one app. It’s great in the car though.

I knew I would love Nugs but for the last year I have been able to keep up with my favorite bands as if I am literally on tour with them! Listening to how my favorite bands have evolved throughout the year has been so fun! Shout out to: Dogs in a Pile, Kitchen Dwellers, Umphrey’s, Moe., Dopapod.  

Also, I find myself just trusting your new selection and listen to random bands that I never heard before!

I have to restart the app repeatedly to get music to play. For example if I stop listening to music, but want to start some hours later, the app bugs out and will not play music. As of writing this, I clicked play on a song and it is still not starting. Only way I can get it to play is full stop the app and restart. This is ridiculous for an app that costs well over $100 a year, do better

I love all everything about nugs.net. Artists. Streams. Setup. Player is buggy but works for the most part. 

The biggest issue I have is your money is never enough. 

I started off signing up with my Sirius subscription (which I pay for) and only certain catalogs are available with Sirius subscription. Most of the stuff available on Sirius subscription you can find on Spotify or Apple Music or something. 

So Sturgill Simpson’s Boston shows are being live streamed so I said “ok. I’ll sign up for the free 7 day trial and we’ll see how I like the streams and go from there”….

Nope. Can’t watch the Sturgill Simpson livestream on the 7 day trial lol. Which I didn’t even know was a thing. I thought if you are on a “trial” it’s a “trial of the full subscription”. Why have a “trial” if it’s not actually a “trial”. 

I don’t want to sound like a hater. I love live music and I love the concept and idea of nugs. But for something that ultimately costs almost as much as a Spotify or AM subscription I’m not sure it’s worth it. If it was $9.99/month I’d think about it.

And while you’re working on adding that feature to CarPlay, it would be great if I can browse by artists alphabetically for anyone past Sammy Hagar (where the list currently stops)
