Doesn’t work
I’ve followed all the steps and numbers that i have blocked still get through instead of being blocked.

Block annoying scammers who hide behind fake phone numbers.
Do you get unwanted calls or text messages from phone numbers similar to your own? With Number Shield, block an entire group of numbers at once. Just enter a wildcard for each digit you want to block.
For example, if your number is 714-555-1234, scammers might use a number like 714-555-6789. Block all similar numbers by entering 714-555-####. Wildcards and numbers can be combined in any order you choose. Block international numbers, too!
To make sure you don't miss calls from your family and friends, phone numbers in your contacts are always allowed.
Block numbers directly from your phone's missed calls screen. Just follow these steps:
1. Tap the “ i ” button next to the missed call.
2. Tap “Share Contact”.
3. Tap “Block Similar Numbers”. (If you don't see this action, tap “Edit Actions...“ to enable it.)
4. Now you'll see the Number Shield number entry screen. Tap “Done” to block calls from similar numbers.
Please note:
• Each number pattern can contain up to 7 wildcards, and up to 50,000,000 phone numbers can be blocked.
• Blocked calls are sent directly to voice mail.
• Blocked text messages are sent to the “Junk” filter in the Messages app.
• iMessage messages are not blocked.
• When “Do Not Disturb” is enabled on your phone, calls that should be blocked may appear in your phone's list of missed calls.

possibly the most useful app… works well - extends blocking through use of wildcard on both sms & calls, contacts excluded. A must for all - get this one not the paid ones. Extremely highly recommended - fight back against scammers

Great app but man those scammers are persistent. I’m still having to reload the same numbers most days. ### ### doesn’t seem to be working as well as I’d hoped.
Blocking not working
Keep getting a call from blocked number range. Obviously app doesn’t work to block those spam calls.

Best App to eliminate scam calls
I was getting so many scam calls everyday with spoofed numbers. This App stops them all and I never have to stress about scam calls. It's the best, and support is just amazing. Thanks Alan.
Edit: fixed!
I get about 5 calls a day from an ever changing number besides the first digits. So I’ve blocked every number starting with those first 4 digits and they still get through? Am I supposed to include the area code or something? Edit: went to the number shield settings inside my phone setting. Problem solved! Thanks guys for an affordable solution
Works in Australia
Seems to be working so far. Initially I still received the calls when I entered the numbers directly. But sharing the contacts with the app after receiving a scam call seems to work.
No ongoing costs
Unlike other apps this is a one off purchase and does everything I need it to. Thank you dev!
