### *---- "Piss poor app for a piss poor company"
I have dealt with this company for 2 years and it’s fair to say they have gotten progressively worse. They have a piss poor attitude towards the nurses and CNAs who make money for them! The crappy, inaccurate, faulty app is used for checking into the facilities reflects the state of this company. They have you “check-in” at the exact time, but the app says you’re too early. After waiting a minute, now you’re too late and have to get special approval from the facility. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact the facility.

I spent hours filling out the paperwork online. The application itself was glitching so I went through the website. After providing all the usual confidential documents and information, I came to the end of my profile. It alerted me to upload my credentials again, which I had already done. I had been advanced forward early on after entering my credentials. Once I received the alert, I was confused because I could clearly see my credentials uploaded. So I went to the chat bot, which proceeded to tell me how to upload my credentials. Then a live person from India came on and proceeded to tell me that my state was not included in the jobs. No where on the website or application did it disclose what states were included. I went through all that work and disclosed private confidential information to a company I felt like was legit. In the meantime, I was also required to sign up with Branch Banking to create a Business account in order to be paid by Nurse IO. I also had to provide all kinds of sensitive information for Branch bank. The guy on Nurse IO then proceeded to apologize and call me “ma’am” even though my ID, and name clearly identifies me as a male. I corrected him. He proceeded to tell me they could save my information until my state (Missouri) was included in the jobs contract with Nurse IO. Suddenly on my screen,  a banner comes up advertising that they were in the process of working on getting Missouri in the contract. I went through the wringer trying to get my account canceled with Branch and I still haven’t figured out how to get my data deleted with Nurse IO. Some people may have a good experience with this company, but beware about providing any details prior to knowing what states they represent first. Since then I have collected all this, including screenshots to forward this to the Missouri Attorney General’s Office for review. Nurse IO should disclose what states they represent prior to collecting sensitive information. They also should not coerce people into signing up for a business bank account with a partner firm, Branch, prior to letting them know what states they represent. It should also be made clear that you don’t have a right to choose what bank you utilize prior to providing sensitive information.

Nurseio does NOT protect their professionals. They allow the facility to make crazy complaints as if you’ve been trained properly for that facility and they POCKET MOST OF YOUR MONEY. Very low paying agency

I have never seen a temp service or app that will allow a facility to book temps and then cancel on them within four hours of the shift, three hours of the shift, two hours of the shift. There is absolutely absolutely no compensation if you are last-minute canceled. There is no respect for the fact that you held your day open, there’s no respect for the fact that you might’ve needed some money. They will allow you to pick up shift after shift after shift for facilities that are using you for “just in case”. Since starting with this service, I have been sent home after two hours, sent home after four hours. And that’s on 12 hour shifts. And then I’ve had five cancellations. I’ve picked up seven shifts and I still have not worked one single full shift. They will lose professionals if they carry on like this. Nobody likes their time wasted, it’s ridiculous to allow us to pick something up and then cancel us within hours of it without compensating us at all.

This app pays you lower than the facilities if you were hired on. With the cost of living insurance that you must have being independent, you end up making less than the being hired on. They take out breaks automatically even if you’re not able to due to lack of staff in the facility and disputing it means you have to wait to be paid once the facility confirms. Recent change is spite paying small amounts for the facilities they are taking $4.98 out from what you’re paid out and end of each shift.

This app/company used to be great until changes about 3 months ago. Since then- just as others say: you DONT get paid at end of shift. You have to wait hours- days to get paid. The app clock in system glitches. You have to wait for admin to “confirm” your time submitted , as if we are lying. The customer service in AZ are in fact, rude. They gaslight, telling us “you’re the only one having an issue with the app” yet, we all are. They send messages “due to the high volume of calls we won’t be taking anymore”. They stopped answering calls a few months back. There’s  no support service. They answer a text after the main person emails a response. The hardest part of my work day shouldn’t be “suffering” to get paid for the hours already worked. Oh - and the hours- usually end up being 4-6 hours instead of 12hours. I wonder if the CEO is aware of how crappy this app has become and losing not on only healthcare staff but healthcare facilities as their tired of reiterating the same info- simple things like “no the nurse didn’t have to have a break. She worked 4 hours”…. Yep. Good luck

App automatically closes when trying to submit hours. So a hour and a half later i finally got it to work on the internet app instead of the nirseio app and it let me submit my hours.

I was very excited to try out the app to compare it to other similar agency apps however, I have not been able to start. I have been unable to even finish onboarding because of the app’s continuous asking of me to download their paying app (Branch), which I have already done. To make matters worse, I tried reaching out to their team and have been in contact with people just for them to ignore me. I’m on my third time today trying to contact them in one month and the person I’m in contact with isn’t very helpful. I guess I’ll never get to try this one out!

Nurseio is the worst company to work for. CBI is always cancelling last minute. All Nurseio says “ we are working on it” Nurseio does not go to bat for their staff. Which is really sad. Anyway Nurseio is not a good agency to work at . Save your time from being cancelled.

This app never alerts me for shifts and when it does it disappears within minutes. Not worth it if you’re looking for serious consistent shifts as a LPN. Also good luck receiving your payments at the end of your shift now. Branch will NOT verify your account or debit card due to a “glitch” I’ve made the company aware of yet I still have to suffer and get paid through them. Definitely will be looking for another agency. Too many issues all around

You call of 1 time and you are banned for 7 days! Shifts pay is so LOW! Your better of a regular job. I’m in Az pay is $20 for NurseIO every now and than facilities will do $50 bonus. You will get taxed x2 since it’s considered a 1099 job. Definitely not worth it! Facilities are always far too! So you end up making less!
