I'm very satisfied with your app, non the less I think you should go further. For exemple in the types of fat like omega 3 and omega 6, carbs like frutose, starch, etc Thank you very much and congratulations for your excellent app. I hope I helped you
I have had this app for years. I used to really like it. A couple of years ago however, they really dumbed it down. It used to have detailed nutrient information, for example, both soluble and insoluble fiber. Now, it just has very basic info for each food that you can get from any food label. You used to be able to see a very comprehensive list of foods that were high or low in a specific nutrient. (For example, “Im trying to eat more magnesium,” or “I have a relative who can’t eat vitamin K”.) Now this will show you the top 100 foods for a given nutrient, but unfortunately, these ingredients or foods are not de-duped so you tended to get a list that has a lot of repeats, or very odd and obscure foods and you can’t scroll past the end of the 100 items. It’s basically just like every other super simple calorie counting app out there, and I don’t think this is very differentiated or special any more.
Also the older version was a lot more intuitive
Great app if you care about nutrition. It logs your calories, cholesterol, sodium, vitamins, minerals, all kinds of fats — even caffeine and alcohol. They have a big food database, although of course they don’t have every kind of food. You can enter nutrient data for foods that aren’t listed. You can enter recipes for food you prepare yourself. This app told me where I was eating hidden sugar so I got rid of it. It also told me I was calorie-deficient on some days, and which vitamins I need to supplement. I highly recommend this app.
Waste of money. Most foods and beverages I consume are not in its database. Prior to the latest app update, at least I got a pop-up telling me such and gave me the option of creating it, now it doesn’t even do that. Finding my way to where I can create a new entry, everything has to be converted to grams. Not worth even $5
I am kinda dissatisfied with the food database. I used some Good Wheat pasta in a recipe and the database didn’t recognize it. There is no way I can see to add foods to the database. I also tried entering in my multivitamin and again not in the database. This app would be 5 stars with more foods.
