Real journalists don’t bend the facts to coddle wannabe dictators
The daughter of an award-winning newspaper editor-publisher who revered and did his best to emulate the sober truth telling of Edward R. Murrow, it is appalling to me how the vaunted Gray Lady now sees fit to run cover for villainous GOP reactionaries and sneer at good governance as demonstrated by the Biden administration. It is clearly time to wrest OUR Constitutionally-mandated free press from the power-mongering hands of self-centered billionaires who are willfully ignoring their duty as news media owners to inform the voting public ~ because WE ARE THE DECIDERS of the course of our never-not-great nation, not the arrogant 1%, who are shamelessly trying to seize more power and control for themselves and thus harm our democracy.
