Too much distraction
It‘s a good app, but it throws everything at you: News, Podcasts, Games, Cooking, Sports… If that’s what you want, you will probably enjoy the app. I would enjoy a streamlined daily newspaper app more. An app without breaking news and developing stories, article referrals, games or other distractions. Just the daily set of NYT articles. I know the „Today‘s Paper“ section is available in the app. But it’s hidden and you have to get through an onslaught of stuff to find it. A dedicated daily newspaper app is probably to much to ask for, but it would be great if you could offer a „just the daily“ option in this app which makes „Today‘s Paper“ your landing page (and possibly hides all the distractions away).

The new app is great, especially with the section slider on the main page. Now, it would be even more amazing, if I could change the sections, like which section to be displayed there instead of listed under other “sections” (or is that already possible?)

Best Independent News in the World
NYT has the best news and podcasts in the world. As a German I only pay 2 USD a week. Highly recommended
