You can’t create an account or browse films in the app. Just use the website…! -- lukerosspost, 2023-09-06 ### *---- "Why all the restrictions?" Who would of thought it would be so hard to watch old NZ material. For some reason Airplay has been disabled for this app. The only plus is that watching NZ films on a phone will certainly bring families closer together! -- energyedge, 2021-08-21 ### *---- "Infuriating." Absolutely terrible. Doesn’t screen mirror. Won’t work on Apple TV. -- neondi, 2020-09-21 ### *---- "Jump through hoops for nothing" The app requires you to register with their website and then enter a code displayed on the AppleTV. This earns you the ability to buy or rent from their library of content. I couldn't find any free content, so had no way to judge the quality of the underlying service. There were a number of quality titles of interest, the ones I saw were $5 to rent or $15 to buy, but it wasn't clear how long rent was for or what rights or quality "buy" would get you. Overall I burned some time to try something and wasn't able to be persuaded it was worthwhile. My gut feeling is that with prices like these, it's not for me. -- Aboy021, 2020-04-16 ### *---- "Can search?" Just downloaded on Apple TV. All I see is a preview trailer / player test and settings that let me log out. Why can’t I search for films and buy rent within the app? Common NZFilm you can do better! -- Runnerboybob, 2020-04-11 ### *---- "Not any UI" I don’t understand. I want to meet a person that can use this app -- Cordyceps, 2020-04-01 ### *---- "It’s a shame you can’t rate 0 stars" Why is there no search function? How is anyone supposed to know what movies are available. Even the web version doesn’t have a way of browsing all the titles on file. Terrible way of show casing our films -- Ryangodammit, 2019-05-30 ### **--- "Rubbish" Cannot search for movies on your phone app. Waste of time -- beca_campbell, 2018-10-16 ### ***-- "Adequate as a player" The app is adequate as a player - would be way more useful to buy and rent from within the app. -- Woodynz, 2018-02-11 ### **--- "You cannot stream to a TV" The app works. You can watch movies on your phone. You cannot watch movies on a television. This is rather ironic, as work created for the largest screens is forced to be viewed on the smallest. -- Kris Sowersby, 2017-01-28 [View all NZ Films reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## NZ Films Discovered Keywords - on demand ## Apps Similar to NZ Films - [ThreeNow](https://apptail.io/app/threenow-OZd/new-zealand) - [DocPlay](https://apptail.io/app/docplay-Aik/new-zealand) - [Beamafilm](https://apptail.io/app/beamafilm-HxJd/new-zealand) - [Eventfinda Scan Tickets](https://apptail.io/app/eventfinda-scan-tickets-ruxf/new-zealand) - [Brollie](https://apptail.io/app/brollie-VKmj/new-zealand) - [Shows+ Discover & Track Series](https://apptail.io/app/shows-discover-track-series-kSBj/new-zealand) - [Neon TV](https://apptail.io/app/neon-tv-dvek/new-zealand) - [MyLotto](https://apptail.io/app/mylotto-hvek/new-zealand) - [Sky Go – Companion App](https://apptail.io/app/sky-go-companion-app-jvek/new-zealand) - [HOYTS Cinemas New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/hoyts-cinemas-new-zealand-nvek/new-zealand) ## NZ Films Available In - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/nz-films-Xlf/new-zealand) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/nz-films-Xlf/australia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/nz-films-Xlf/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
