OBD Fusion supports all OBD2 and EOBD vehicles sold worldwide. OBD Fusion can also connect to some JOBD vehicles that don’t support standard OBD2 protocols.
Electric vehicles (EVs) are not required to have OBD2 diagnostics since they are emissions exempt. If you are interested in using OBD Fusion on an EV, contact us first to inquire about support.
OBD Fusion has a ton of features including:
- Read and clear emissions-related trouble codes (fault codes) and your Check Engine Light (MIL)
- View vital driving information on your CarPlay screen. Note that real-time gauges are not supported by CarPlay, so you can't view your OBD Fusion pages such as dashboards on CarPlay.
- With optional enhanced diagnostic add-ons, you can read and clear enhanced trouble codes on other modules such as ABS, SRS, etc. and read transmission temperature. An enhanced diagnostic add-on is required for this functionality.
- Real-time dashboard display with fully customizable gauges. Create your own dashboards with the gauges that you want to see.
- Performance calculations for 1/4 mile and 0-60 mph track times
- Fuel economy MPG (US and UK), l/100km or km/l calculation
- Full diagnostic report that can be stored and shared
- Real-time graphing of multiple signals
- Multiple trip meters
- Log data to CSV file
- Create custom enhanced PIDs
- Includes some built-in enhanced PIDs for Ford and GM vehicles
- Display Boost pressure in real-time
- Display Engine Power and Torque
- Display calculated Air-to-fuel ratio
- Display battery voltage
- Read freeze frame data
- Fully customizable units including English, Imperial, and Metric units
- Over 150 supported PIDs
- Display vehicle information including VIN and calibration ID

This has worked perfectly for me on multiple vehicles. Nice compact design. Simple user interface. I keep it in my vehicle at all times.

New version with CarPlay doesn’t offer much. Read a few pods and a bit of trip data?
No CVT temp on Subaru
Despite what some forum entries say, this app along with BAFX WiFi obd2 does not access or display CVT temp on a Subaru.

Really not sure where all these 5 star positive reviews are coming from. Yeah, it’s an OBDII app that has a little bit more customizability than other free ones, but $13.99 for it? Nah. In addition, all the “extra” vehicle features and diagnostics are “locked” behind in-app purchases. For $20.99 extra you’re able to access these additional features ONLY FOR YOUR CURRENT MAKE AND YEAR of vehicle. You’d think $20.99 would let you either access all makes, models and years, but no, I have two Toyota vehicles, one older than the other, so I would have to pay $41.98 total to view any vehicle specific features. Complete rip off and waste of money. Go and download a free elm327 or OBDII scanner app and let this one kick dust.
