The devs need to fix this. -- docster619, 2025-02-09 ### ****- "Excellent, but could use sensitivity settings" Infocar is great, it works flawlessly with my OBD-II scanner and is perfect at recording my journeys and checking diagnostics etc. My main issue at the moment is the Driving Style system. I always score top marks for Eco but I am always around 70P for safety because of “Rapid deceleration”. While I understand this is a metric of safe driving - my car naturally has sharp brakes, and even normal braking seems to trigger a “rapid deceleration” event, knocking my score. Could you please consider adding a setting that lets you adjust the sensitivity of rapid deceleration? I’m not doing emergency stops every time I break, yet the app seems to think so! -- Coopydood, 2024-12-24 ### *---- "Adverts" I don’t mind adverts if the developers pay attention and make the buttons clickable. I was able to scan, detect and clear most ECU errors, the link to workshop data is also really useful. The detail and volume of data you are able to access is really good. I use it with a 2000 VAG vehicle and with a tweak of the settings to ensure the app reads the right data protocols, I can see all I need to without going premium. I have used it with several cars, all newer, and the same data or more is available. It will only show you what the car knows, for instance a mechanical fault on a diesel turbo didn’t show up because there isn’t a sensor on the car to inform the ECU. Don’t expect it to tell you the tyre treads for the same reason. It will give you all the sensor information available such as air intake temp, fuel use, engine load and rpm. I am tempted to go premium as a thank you to the developers. It’s a really good app. But needs Google maps integrating into the driving record section of it. Fuel data (miles per gallon) seems to be inaccurate. I’ve set my car up correctly, and have set up all the fuel data correctly, but it still shows me getting way more mpg than the car tells me. I have since found that if I set the scale factor to x0.71 (in settings) then the fuel data for my car (Astra K) seems to be relatively accurate.
