Obscura — Pro Camera

in 1 word: wow… i love the zoom dial, everything is so smooth & easy to use, the grid/crosshairs & the gyroscope are a nice touch. very well made app. i can’t wait to see the bonus features…

This is an amazing app for taking photos and videos as you would on a DSLR. The support team and developer are so helpful and are truly great people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The second you open the app you are instantly hit with a pay wall.. if you don’t subscribe you can’t even open the app… not even a preview. Greed has taken over the world, repent! Jesus is coming back soon

Terrible controls and WHY DO THEY CHANGE SIZE WHEN I MOVE THEM?? Makes no sense and makes it so difficult to use. It’s actually easier to use camera control but it only has EV and Focus. Terrible camera app. Terrible design. Halide better.

The app will not stay open. I launch it, it flashes on then closes out. Please advise. I’ve paid for the subscription as well and cannot utilize it.

Downloaded the app, subscribed to “Ultra”, but when i open the app it instantly crashes.

I like the one time purchase, but $65??? This is a slightly better version of the camera I already am using. Theres no reason for a subscription or that kind kind of greed. I would pay a one time fee for this, absolutely, but... this is a camera app. There is no ongoing service I care about, especially when I use iCloud. Cool app, great layout, its what I wish the apple camera app was... but not for $65...

Got the “lifetime” one-time purchase a while ago. Now, new features are locked behind a subscription. App deleted.

This looks like it might be great, but I am deeply opposed to subscriptions on software and the features I would find most useful are locked behind that barrier. Please consider adding a option to purchase a perpetual license.

So interface is fantastic, issues, 1. With the setting on limited photos I can not get even the photos taken with the app to be viewable in the app. 2. Subscription apps are hard to like. I decided to try it for one year againat my pure hate for subscription based apps, I’m currently using 12 different camera apps and so for the interface is by far the best, I’m hoping the photo issue is just a bug, my plan is to test all the apps until I can find the one that I gravitate to by the ease of use, the main concern is that somewhere I think I read it’s made by one person, what happens if that person decides to stop or can’t keep support up? I hope this app keeps going it has great features and huge potential, I’ll be happy to give 5 stars if the album loads without issue, even with the dreaded subscription.
