## ObsIdentify Description
Herken de natuur in één klik! Maak een foto in Europa of het Nederlands Caribisch gebied, en kom te weten welke soort het is. Verzamel al je natuurwaarnemingen in de app. Je wordt beloond met tips op maat om soorten te vinden, behaalt badges en wordt uitgenodigd om mee te doen met challenges. Maak groepen met collega's, familie of vrienden en bekijk elkaars mooiste natuurwaarnemingen. Jouw waarnemingen, en die van anderen, dragen bij aan onderzoek naar soorten en kennis van de natuur. Elke waarneming telt!

ObsIdentify herkent alleen wilde dieren, planten en paddenstoelen uit Europa en het Nederlands Caribisch gebied. Gebruik de app niet voor selfies, mensen, huisdieren, kamer- of tuinplanten.

De beeldherkenning in ObsIdentify wordt mogelijk gemaakt door miljoenen waarnemingen van duizenden gebruikers van Waarneming.nl, Waarnemingen.be en Observation.org. ObsIdentify is een product van Stichting Observation International, in samenwerking met Naturalis Biodiversity Center en Natuurpunt.

Leuke app en heb al vele namen van planten en insecten kunnen vinden. Jammer dat het alleen voor Europa is 😏

### ***** "Geweldige leerzame app"
We gebruiken de app met ons hele gezin tijdens wandelingen, waardoor er veel nieuwe dieren gezien en herkend worden. Er wordt ook beter gekeken naar de details van de verschillende flora en fauna.
De wandelingen zijn ook veel gezelliger geworden :).

Wat we nog missen is een mogelijkheid om al in de app meer informatie voor het uploaden in te kunnen voeren, bijv. Levensstadium, geslacht etc.
Ook zou het fijn zijn om je locatie standaard te kunnen vervagen, i.v.m. privacy en veiligheid rondom je huis.
Nu moet dit voor beide punten op de website aangepast worden.

Ik maak graag foto’s met spiegelreflex camera, en stoor me er aan dat ik waarnemingen niet kan uploaden omdat er geen locatiegegevens in de foto’s zijn opgeslagen. Zou het mogelijk zijn om via ObsIdentify de locatie handmatig op een kaart toe te voegen?

### ****- "Leuk voor de hele familie"
Bezorgt ontzettend veel plezier en maakt wandeltochten weer een stuk leuker! Je probeert allemaal de mooiste waarnemingen te doen en gaat daardoor veel bewuster de natuur bekijken. 
Tip: zou fijn zijn als je op een badge klikt ook meteen ziet welke waarnemingen daar bij behoren. Ook zouden de filter opties voor je eigen waarnemingen uitgebreid kunnen worden. Bijvoorbeeld op categorie, locatie (land) of zeldzaamheid (algemeen/vrij algemeen/zeldzaam etc)  
Een legenda over de status van een soort zou ook mooie toevoeging zijn.

Dus graag verplichte locatie laten vervallen.

Erg jammer, kreeg 20 spam mails per dag omdat ik niet de volledige plant zou hebben gefotografeerd…. Het ging hier om een grasspriet. Zeer frustrerend, zoveel mails. Klantenservice gaat ook graag met je in discussie over of gras een volledige plant is of niet. Naar mijn mening heb je meerdere soorten gras en met een foto van een grasspriet zou de app al moeten kunnen vertellen wat het voor plant is. Kunnen andere apps ook. Schijnbaar moet je bij deze app dan een heel grasveld fotograferen maar gras vind je ook gewoon in het bos naast een boom…. Waardeloos.

Antwoord reactie: er is geen enkele ruimte om ook maar in gesprek te gaan met jullie, nogmaals… het gaat hier om onder andere een gras spriet. Dit had een leuke app kunnen zijn, alleen al om kinderen te stimuleren en badges te laten verzamelen. Helemaal jammer. 
Ik heb jullie app bij mijn recensie gelijk verwijderd, zal jullie ook niet aanbevelen…. Zo te lezen de rest van Nederland ook niet.

Zeer goede app voor insecten , daardoor al veel nieuwe soorten ontdekt , planten en paddestoelen werkt de beeldherkenning vaak niet goed genoeg
