Access over 1,000,000 chargers with the all-powerful and award-winning Electroverse app and Electrocard. The Electrocard (RFID) is free to order & you can do this through the Electroverse app whenever you like.

This is public EV charging made simple.

‘But I’m not an Octopus customer!’ we hear you cry - well, good news, you don’t need to be with Octopus Energy to use Electroverse - it’s open to all!

What’s more, paywalls and hidden fees aren’t our thing - we’re more ‘discounts and inclusivity’. So, once you’ve signed up, you’ll have access to every feature immediately. 

You’ll also only ever get clear and transparent pricing from us. We never mark up charging rates, directly passing through the rate we receive from the relevant network. This also means we’re able to wrangle some discounted deals, so you can start saving on your favourite charging networks.

- Plunge Pricing discounts = On top of our standard discounts, we’ve rolled out Plunge Pricing: discounts when energy prices drop. Green energy = greener discounts.
- Electroverse map toggle = Switches map visibility between all chargers and those compatible with Electroverse. This means you have all the information when selecting a charger.

I am reading the reviews on here and must be experiencing a different app. It is clunky with poor functionality and so far it hasn’t been able to start a charge in the app on any EV charging point I’ve tried to use. To give an example, the app sends you receipts for charges which according to the app never started because “the electrons are still firing” - developers have focused on styling an app consistent with the juvenile branding that octopus energy has rather than using the opportunity to provide a substantial app.

Having tried a few apps over the past 2 years since getting an EV this is simply the best app. 
It’s easy to use and love that the charge can be passed on to your Octopus energy bill. 
The customer service is absolutely top notch. Replies to emails are really fast and the guys are so good. 
Electroverse & Octopus are by far the best for service. Really leave the others far behind.

I love how it’s taken out of my Octopus monthly bill! I love how everything works inside the app! However it would be nice to be able to see all the Electroverse chargers at a glance on map with the prices. I hate how you have to click into each individual charger to find out prices or any promotional offers!

App seems to help you find charging locations but as soon as you press one of the charge points , or hit the charge button it feeezes / crashes. 

Am I doing something wrong or does the app rely on you having the electrocard to start a charging session ? I’ll see if that helps but if it doesn’t then this is useless.

Can’t even log in to begin with. Repeat message of “we are aware of an issue and are working hard to resolve it”. Mercifully I’m not depending on an actual charge as I simply downloaded in preparation for my new car. Really disappointing as Octopus as an energy provider have been largely fantastic.
