The app relies too much on bots and the customer service is poor + slow. -- Tiff&ny_0881, 2024-10-25 ### *---- "Use this app and service at your own risk!" Placed an order for a gathering of friends and family where my order was accepted and payment was charged to my credit card. When I was due to receive my food, was told by the rider (delivery) that the restaurant has closed down for months! Not only did I not get my food, repeated attempts to try and get customer service help was unsuccessful. After 90mins, Oddle just offered a refund and closed the case. My friends and family had no food and had to scramble to get food elsewhere. Horrible customer service and quite clearly inadequate vendor/ partner management on Oddle’s part. Absolutely horrible customer service. Have applied a voucher successfully and even double confirm the amount is deducted at final payment amount. Next thing I knew was getting charged the full amount without discount. Contacted the CS and was told they could not do anything nor provide a promo code to make up the discount. CS says there was a payment timeout on their system and that’s why the voucher was not applied. They cannot refund or cancel the order or reapply the discount. Basically nothing they can do. All they blame is the payment timeout which by the way is their system coding - if a timeout occurs, do not even proceed to accept the transaction. The only thing they offer to do is reach out to restaurant to cancel the order (that is subjected to restaurant). If restaurant decides not to cancel, customer will still bear the full amount. For instance, tracking an order through the app somehow brings up an external webpage?? To me, they’re the more middle to high end range. But geez the app is bad. Quite a few times, I selected delivery date and time, select items and when it’s time to make payment, app says no more delivery slots for the time I selected. So annoying cos I just spent a few minutes selecting my items! Now it seems they’ve improved a bit. Some restaurants are listed as No slots available. So I click on those that have slots available. Only to be brought to another screen that now says no slots available. Not many choices in the app. I also can’t select by choice ie pickup with no min purchase. While some is pretty ridiculously min. For instance some wanton shop - min spending is s$35 even for pick up. So it’s not useful for single order item. Overall very little choice compared to other platforms that include even bakery, bubble tea and fast food. Plus pricing seems to be on the high side.
