Chaotic app/company
The app is all shiny and glossy but the UI and the process flows are totally not cohesive. For instance, tracking an order through the app somehow brings up an external webpage?? It just seems all over the place right now.

As i write this review i am still waiting for my food delivery. Its already been almost an hour late and they still can’t get anyone to deliver my food. This is the last time i am using this app.
I actually really like the restaurants on Oddle. To me, they’re the more middle to high end range. But geez the app is bad. Quite a few times, I selected delivery date and time, select items and when it’s time to make payment, app says no more delivery slots for the time I selected. So annoying cos I just spent a few minutes selecting my items! Now it seems they’ve improved a bit. Some restaurants are listed as No slots available. So I click on those that have slots available. Only to be brought to another screen that now says no slots available. Freakin app is virtually unusable.
App hangs, leaving driver and restaurant not in communication. Driver gets message to pick up order but system fails to provide order number. Driver leaves. Food still awaits delivery. Two hours later, fresh sushi is stale. Poor, poor app. Very poor logistics.
Downloaded the app and saw that there wasnt an option a Halal option… must pick and key in individual cuisines such as malay/indonesian etc which can be a hussle as might not know its halal.. overall, easy to use, hope the newer/future version would include a halal option :)
Not many choices in the app. I also can’t select by choice ie pickup with no min purchase. While some is pretty ridiculously min. For instance some wanton shop - min spending is s$35 even for pick up. So it’s not useful for single order item. Overall very little choice compared to other platforms that include even bakery, bubble tea and fast food. Plus pricing seems to be on the high side. The only plus point is I can choose future date and time but again I saw people review that sudden cancel of order end up it’s kind of embarrassing for that person for order for family event even when they pre-order a few days in advance
1st order via pick up so far so good. Only the app damn long winded unable to proceed but having to pick at least 3 options and tick here tick there and come to a page with dietary restrictions only can tick vegetarian and halal? I got no dietary restrictions. I just tick all to get thru the hassle.
Order delayed Delivery missing in action. Order cancelled at 1.16pm but delivery was made at 2.35pm without anyone inform me.
Just call the restaurant instead of dealing with these middlemen. Restaurants won’t accept orders and can cancel on you at the last minute. Why have this “platform” as it doesn’t help why any confirmation or peace of mind about your orders.
Thought GF was bad, until I came across Oddle. Here’s why. When order goes wrong, one has to contact the food vendor, Oddle is not part of the process. Oddle processes your order and charges with zero order visibility. If order is not picked up (as was my case), they have to get in touch with the vendor for them to process the refund. One has to ask: what value add does Oddle provide in the entire process? Very little.
