This app allows you to create checklists of all your odonate sightings on your phone and then upload them to Odonata Central website, including species seen, abundance, date and location. Later you can view these observations on the Odonata Central website, along with those of thousands of other users, as maps and species lists. Odonata Central is a citizen science project that collects user observations of odonates, primarily from the western hemisphere, to contribute to understanding their distribution, biogeography, biodiversity, and identification. This app is for users who are able identify most of the odonates of their region. If you need help identifying Odonates, see our companion app, Dragonfly ID. Features: - Presents a checklist of possible species based on your location. - Supports four languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French) and is primarily intended for use in the Western Hemisphere. - Easily toggle between display of English and Scientific names. - Easily assign a location by using the favorite locations you have stored on Odonata Central, use your current phone location or choose a location from a map. - Convenient offline mode that allows you to enter your observations when you do not have a cell phone signal. You create and store your checklists on your phone and add your location later when you have a signal. Note that the app does not accept photos. Those can be added later by editing your checklist on the Odonata Central website. This is a helper app for the Odonata Central website. You must have an Odonata Central account and you can register for one from the app or the website. ## Odonata Central Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9b/75/f0/9b75f0de-7a8b-ebb8-5df1-f9fac4b940d6/4f09feb2-8c88-4978-a9a8-dc3fa4fd3935_Picture_212.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b8/14/e0/b814e0b2-33d5-e770-dc21-13e4e37a5b88/902f1bca-12a3-4b14-9e60-43d4c9f83b0e_Picture_213.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/5b/eb/23/5beb2311-5d4d-ee5a-e367-37a731ead68c/cdc04a35-c3f9-418a-8032-ebff89039031_3_LocationA.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2f/dd/c4/2fddc462-bd40-0287-cabe-bed76c7092a0/1db124cc-c07c-4694-989a-64640c9162e7_Picture_214.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/99/e4/93/99e49345-f120-883e-2780-fc9bd15617dc/c4ccf102-f9ed-4bfd-b9f6-166ae46a50aa_Picture_215.png/1242x2688.png) ## Odonata Central Rating Breakdown in China - 5 stars: 0 (0%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (100%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Odonata Central Available In - [China](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/china) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/australia) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/azerbaijan) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/brazil) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/belarus) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/colombia) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/egypt) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/united-kingdom) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/hong-kong) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/indonesia) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/india) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/kazakhstan) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/nigeria) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/peru) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/pakistan) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/saudi-arabia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/ukraine) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/vietnam) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/united-arab-emirates) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/south-africa) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/odonata-central-HNpe/argentina) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
