I’ve been able to post zero post for free. Asking for subscription to post 1 of any car. Bicycle. Or jewelry. I mean, I understand charging for multiple posts but you’re always insured at least one a month now no longer. Reached out to customer support no help. Think it might be finally time to cut ties. Then it is not possible to unarchive them, you get an error message. So you need to post them anew from scratch. And you’re not able to answer messages from people who want to buy your item. Between eBay and FB, I used to really like OfferUp even if features were limited. However, in the past 3 years of use, I have had nothing but issues with the platform. Ads are extremely frequent and make the app nearly unusable. I get an unskippable ad shoved in my face after clicking 2 or 3 different listings. This alone is UNACCEPTABLE for a platform that often has users who will compare between multiple listings at once. If you need the money that badly, charge for the app? Don’t hide behind ads. I’ve also had an unusual amount of people who commit to meeting up and flake last moment, which is always an issue but it seems to be significantly worse on OfferUp. I’ve noticed that overall participation is down in the past few years; I haven’t sold a single item on here in over 4 years. Apple is a scam. OfferUp is a scam. Do not give either of them money. Vulture don’t do any of the work. They prey on the weak, dying, or dead… Apple and OfferUp are scum vulture scavengers literally milking the souls of humanity… OfferUp blocks legitimate sales, deletes the messages, blocks you from genuine users, only allows scammers to get through, yet claims they block your genuine buyers because they flag them as scammers. They do this to push people into paying OfferUp for premium services when really they should just offer to let you get paid with CashApp or something and just take 5% on things under $100, and then take 10% on anything over $100. Your company is stupid, scammy, sketchy, pushy, and useless. It’s probably owned by some rich billionaire idiot from the USA that was born rich, had everything handed to them, never had to work hard, and outsources all of their work to people in countries they can pay pennies so that they can afford to scam people. I do not use social media so Facebook marketplace was out. This app was suggested. My disappointment is a 10/10. My ad has been up 2 weeks. I paid for the extra promotion ( rip off so I would recommend against that). I also changed my ad and lowered the price 5 times over 2 weeks. 39. That’s the number of views. I expected 400, I get 39. Please. The price is more than fair. It started fair then I kept lowering the price to the point of stupid and do you know I got two messages only.
