Oh She Glows

I thought there would be more recipes offered than there are. I already own two cookbooks. So I am a bit disappointed in the app.

I have two of the Oh She Glows cookbooks and absolutely love your recipes. So I’m sorry to say I’m disappointed with this app. I find it awkward to have the ingredients and directions on different tabs since I like to confirm the amounts as I proceed. Going back and forth on my phone requires way too much extra hand washing. I know it’s old fashioned but I like paper copies in front of me while I cook so I’m disappointed that I can’t print a recipe from the app.

There are a lot of great recipes here and the photography is beautiful. Won’t be using the app though because I prefer to print recipes and that isn’t an option here.

This app is beautiful, easy to navigate, and I haven’t had a bad recipe yet! I love it and so appreciate the hard work to offer it to us for such a reasonable price. Love it!!!

Honestly, I’m not even vegan but I LOVE these recipes. The only thing that would make this app SOO ideal, would be to have an option to add the recipes you want to make for the week, and then give you a shopping cart option so I can see all the things I need to have for all those recipes. In case I need to buy some ingredients that I am missing.

I was introduced to this author by one of my friends. A little hesitant, because some vegan cooking isn’t very flavorful or even texture wise just doesn’t cut the cake. I had a brownie recipe, made from the first cookbook, and was extremely impressed. A little on the sweet side, but you can always cut out the sugar. I recently made a chocolate chip cookie which came out delicious. Texture is great. I am very impressed.

I got the app but had to give it up soon after. I wish there was more thought into making recipes friendly for subscribers who may not have some vegan products available in their area/country - like vegan butter, vegan cream etc. why not teach us how to make one from scratch and more self-sufficient? I’m sure there must be some raw ingredients that are more easily accessible to make it. Also, most recipes are very much into American cuisine, would have wished for more variety.

I was not expecting to only get a few recipes and have to share on social media to get access to others. I have supported OSG for years and own the cookbooks.
