## Okai Global Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Scooter app review"
Add background app refresh and more fine tuning to the Bluetooth connection with your phone. More lighting effects or options would be cool. More face customization to the scooter meter. Besides that pretty good app that’s useful with the scooter. Just turn on the push to start mode.
-- Dvgomet, 2024-12-26

### *---- "Hmm"
Every update there’s nothing new neither for the meter style are the same no change
-- botijas502, 2024-12-08

### *---- "Poor app"
This app does not synch to my new scooter ES51.
-- Arpell, 2024-11-10

### *---- "Really bad customer support"
Basically like talking to a wall. They take weeks to respond, and theirs response is useless.
-- Jeremy Grech, 2024-11-04

### **--- "Only good for unlocking the scooter."
The app is not in sync with the scooter. The app will tell me that the battery is on 59% but the Beetle will tell me that I still have three bars. The Bluetooth doesn’t always connect so I don’t know in real time how many miles I’m going. it doesn’t even record or rather it hasn’t been recording my distance that I have traveled. It will lock and unlock the scooter perfectly tho.
-- Nefx8, 2024-11-02

### *---- "Horrible app"
Always a pain to connect it to the scooter. Half the time does not connect. The app changes speeds on its own and you get stuck half way to your destination with no way to fix it.
-- jkwajjsjsjjsiewuuanajjaoao, 2024-10-24

### ***-- "Requires network connectivity to access scooter settings"
I found out today that if your phone doesn’t have access to the internet, you won’t be able to use the app to change settings or lock/unlock your scooter, which obviously would be very bad and could leave you stuck somewhere. Also, even if your phone has an internet connection but Okai’s servers are unavailable (as they are today, possibly because of the Cloudstrike outage) the situation is the same. The app will not connect to your scooter. Remote server connection should not be necessary. All settings updated should be possible with only a Bluetooth connection but the app will not work without an internet connection. Luckily I am within the return window for my OKAI Neon Ultra as this huge oversight is unacceptable. If OKAI was to drop support for their app or deprecate their servers, the scooter would be little more than a paperweight.

### *---- "Worst Ever"
i had the app on my old phone to control the scooter such as the speed and lights and more . Since i got a new phone i had to re download to app and i forgot my password . We called customer service and they said that can’t change the password and they can not give us a new password . I can no longer long into or use the app . This result me into only be able to be on 15 speed . This app is the worst .
-- Zaiden J, 2024-07-18

### ***** "Nice"
I was wondering how to change the ES20 light
-- OKAI user, 2024-06-19

### *---- "The only thing making me regret buying my scooter is the app"
The app is really bad. You have no way to adjust The drive modes and it doesn’t even tell you what the drive modes are. Honestly thinking abt returning the scooter because of how bad this app is.

I honestly think I’m going to return my scooter because of how bad the app is.
