OKTIV enhances your compatible connected audio device – giving you more control and a better listening experience.
The companion app connects to your device using your Wi-Fi network. As long as you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network you can control your connected audio device from anywhere in your home.
Pin your favourite audio content (podcasts, radio stations and on-demand audio) to the ‘My Oktiv’ section of the app homescreen for quick and easy access. Use the app to select the audio source you want to play, discover new audio, change the volume and audio settings, and turn your connected audio device on or off. With customisable presets available for each source, you can quickly select a different station or song without having to search for it.
Supported audio sources include Radio (Internet Radio, DAB, FM Radio), On-demand services (Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Podcasts) and Input (Line Input, Bluetooth, USB). The sources available in OKTIV depend on the functionality of your connected audio device.
OKTIV is compatible with connected audio devices running IR 4.2.4 and above, check your device for more info.
With OKTIV, you’re in control.

Oktiv FAQ
Is Oktiv free?
Yes, Oktiv is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Oktiv legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
Downloaded this app to use with my new Ruark radio and very pleased with it. Great to have access to not just DAB and FM but also podcasts and internet radio. No problems linking to my wifi. A couple of ‘wishlist’ items so far: smaller icons on Homepage, and clarity over if and how you can add specific podcasts to the Preset list
Seems fine to me
Happy with this simple app
Not for Roberts SB1
Does not automatically find my SB1 even though it finds my Majority Homerton 2. After doing search for IP address it says connected device not compatible.
Constant crashes
Crashes constantly and restart the radio. You should really test these things before pushing people to swap from undock.
Needs more work
It's not hugely better than undok apart from a lick of paint. In theory the Home page with easy access to favourites from across inputs is good. But the icons take up far too much space. I can only fit 4 presets on the home page because it's just a collection of the same icons, showing DAB, Internet. I might just go back to undok.
Problem with recent IPhones?
App does not display correctly on iPhone 14 Max, so unusable.
Not good
Thought it would be better than UNDOK ,just as bad!! If it connects its good but getting it to connect is another matter, even if I sit it on top it still won’t connect. Have gone back to doing it on the unit takes longer but at least it works.
Woody.
Frustrating
I’ve sent tickets to support but no response.
There are 2 things that need sorting on this app. Firstly the title of the music doesn’t change when a new song begins. Secondly half the text can’t be seen on the screen. I have previously sent you a screenshot to illustrate this.
Much better than UNDOK
I have used UNDOK for years, and while it is effective, it is showing it’s age. OKTIV is a much more modern, easy to use App. The My Oktiv Home Screen is genius. Makes accessing all of my favourite audio content so much easier.
