## Old Greg's Tavern Description
Finally play tabletop RPGs whenever you feel like it — solo or with friends.

Old Greg's Tavern is a text-based RPG where you create characters, explore living worlds, and play Dungeon RPG-style campaigns without needing a Game Master. Start an adventure in seconds, or invite up to 5 friends who play completely free.

BE ANYONE. DO ANYTHING.
Rob an innkeeper. Seduce a dragon. Die horribly. Try it all again. Create characters with custom appearances, classes, backstories, and stats. There are no wrong answers — only consequences.

DONE WAITING TWO WEEKS BETWEEN SESSIONS?
It's 11 p.m. on a Tuesday and you suddenly want to play. Open the app and start. No waiting, no scheduling, no excuses. The tavern door's always open — 24/7. Play for 20 minutes on a lunch break or 4 hours on a Friday night.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS INSTANTLY
Send one link. They click and they're standing next to you in the tavern. Up to 6 players per campaign, and your friends never pay a cent. Distance and time zones no longer matter.

YOUR LEGEND LIVES FOREVER
NPCs remember you. Your reputation follows you everywhere. Swing back in a month, a year — the story's waiting. Maps expand as you explore. Stories branch with every decision you make.

THOUSANDS OF WORLDS TO EXPLORE
Browse community-created worlds or build your own from scratch. Set the theme — dark fantasy, sci-fi, horror, anything — and the world fills in the lore, geography, factions, and characters. Publish your world for others to discover.

## Old Greg's Tavern Reviews in United States

### ***** "Great!"
Very engaging and easy to follow. Did not expect something this good wrapped up in a clean package. Normally browser based is the way to go but I’m very happy with this app so far.
-- Irvin2788, 2026-03-28

### ****- "Having a great time"
The responses are great really make me feel immersed. Only thing is sometimes the ai gets my dialog wrong as in who I’m talking to but overall I would recommend this to dnd players an dm for inspiration
-- ELVago44, 2026-03-23

### ***** "Scrumptious"
Had the time of my life convincing DJ Pulse Rift to accompany me on my journey to find the wubbiest dubstep wand. 11/10 epic story!
-- Jumbo Leek, 2026-03-11

### ***** "DnD"
If you love DnD I recommend this to anyone!! Incredible designers who list to the people!
-- TyBowtie, 2026-03-09

### ***** "Interactive and Fun!"
Greg’s Tavern is great you can play with or without friends, and create a new character whenever.
-- Juan Sanchez Villolobos, 2026-03-08

### ***** "Good DND fix!"
Really fun and real flexible. I can drop in and drop out whenever I need!
-- Josie17se, 2026-03-08

### ***** "My favorite game 🥰"
I’ve been playing since November ish like when the game was fresh playing it through safari. I’ve really learned to love the game it’s my favorite ever. It’s come a long way! I’ve only ever been able to play as a Dm when I play DnD so I was thrilled to be able to finally be a player. The possibilities are endless. My favorite part is you don’t have to just play traditional DnD. Want to go into your favorite tv show? Boom now you can! Want to just see what an alternative version of you would look like as an exchange student! Boom now you can. From the magical to nonmagical everyday you can literally do everything and anything you put your mind to.
