## Olly Description
Olly turns fleeting spoken thoughts into clean, organized notes, giving each one a clear place to live so you can find them later.

Thought arrives. Tap Olly on your Lock Screen, speak your thought, and carry on. Olly turns what you said into a tidy, readable note and automatically organizes it for you.

STOP LOSING THOUGHTS BEFORE WRITING THEM DOWN

The usual ways of capturing thoughts create friction and distraction. Unlock your phone. Find the right app. Decide where the thought belongs. Then get pulled into everything else on your screen.

Olly keeps capture simple:

TAP → SPEAK → DONE

Zero friction.
Zero distractions.

Just get the thought out of your head and carry on.

ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOUR THOUGHTS LIVE

The second problem is what happens after capture. A thought is only useful if you can find it again.

Put everything in Olly without having to choose the perfect folder, system, or notes app. Olly cleans up and organizes what you said, keeps your thoughts together, and helps you find them quickly with fast search.

→ No wondering which notes app you used.
→ No digging through voice recordings.
→ No scattering thoughts across different places.

Olly is like an outbox for your brain: get the thought out now, decide what to do with it later.

FIVE-STAR RATING

“I didn’t realize how much I needed this app until I started using it. Olly makes it ridiculously easy to jot something down the second it pops into your head, no friction, no overthinking. I’ve tried a bunch of note apps, but this is the first one that actually keeps up with how my brain works.”

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Olly works directly on your Apple devices using Apple’s on-device technology.

→ No account required to start.
→ No tracking.
→ No servers storing your notes.
→ Works offline, in a lift, out in the wilderness

Your thoughts stay yours.

Try Olly the next time a thought arrives. You might be surprised how much easier it is to keep hold of them.

## Olly Reviews in New Zealand

### ***** "Loooove ittt"
This app helped me so much to put all the ideas in my mind onto paper and then into a real product. I thought, yeah, there are so many apps like this — why do we need another one that does exactly the same? And when I tried it, man, it’s so easy to use with no BS, and it helped me so much to turn all those ideas into real applications.

I’m an entrepreneur, so I’m thinking about ideas all day, things that I want to do. So this app helped me bring those ideas down into writing at any moment — when I’m at the gym, after the gym, walking, cooking — and then, in two seconds, start recording on it. And of course, this review was also recorded with it.

pd: thanks for the copy feature, I think I left a review early this month wanting that 😂
-- ezeeqiiell, 2026-03-18

### ***** "Notes app of the year!"
Great that it’s set to record by default with one button after opening. The less friction to recording an idea of the better great execution.
-- KennyIwai, 2026-01-08

### ***** "Exactly what I need!"
I love how easy this is to use, and how accurate the transcription is.

Everything I need in a note transcriber, and nothing I don’t!
-- JennyRudd, 2026-01-06

### ***** "Private notes yay!"
Loving the simplicity and privacy focus of this app. Transcribed notes may not be as great as using ChatGPT but good enough and totally private.
