## Olyns Reviews in United States

### *---- "Needs Work"
It is impossible to actually sign up in the app. Usually it won’t let me fill in the
required fields. The one time I was able to fill in all of the required fields, the “sign me up button” wasn’t functional.
-- BTand FW, 2025-12-16

### *---- "Horrible customer service"
I had a really disappointing experience with Olyns. What was supposed to be a convenient, eco friendly service turned into a frustrating waste of time. The machine was often out of order, slow, or confusing to use, and there was little to no clear guidance when something went wrong.

Customer support was unresponsive and unhelpful when I tried to report issues, which made the whole process feel careless and poorly managed. For a company that promotes sustainability and innovation, the execution feels sloppy and unreliable.

Overall, Olyns creates more inconvenience than value. Until they seriously improve reliability, usability, and support, I would not recommend using it.

### *---- "App is a joke!"
The App is a joke. I have installed it and it requires an email verification to use it. I have attempted MANY times to request the email to verify my account however I have never received it. Customer support was useless.
-- murph7843, 2025-12-13

### *---- "Create an account to recycle.. worst idea ever"
I don’t understand why I need to create an account to recycle my bottles.. there is plenty of alternatives without making creating an account mandatory
-- crash68, 2025-12-08

### *---- "Sad joke"
Box was full, no longer accepting glass bottles. It took five cans, but didn’t pay for them.
-- Ryczard, 2025-11-30

### *---- "Worst ever"
I have tried multiple times
-- Rjschudbe, 2025-11-19

### *---- "Good Idea-Bad UX"
Tried this today and was surprised at how such a great idea could be turned bad with an ill planned customer experience. The app doesn’t seem to actually know about all the machines. When you search it gives you a list. The first one on the list for me was several hundred miles away. I switched to map view and it showed the whole state. When you arrive at the machine, there is now instructions for use. Like why now make the Home Screen say open the card in your phones wallet and tap? And the machine was “closed”. Yes. A vending machine June has hours of operation! Shame. Such a great idea.

### **--- "Poor customer service"
I have been corresponding with this company regarding their app for over a month now. I’ve not been able to get any help regarding my problem. They keep giving me a canned answer. Their Olyns card won’t load into my apple wallet and I can’t get them to fix it.
I used to be a driver (Sherpa)for them but had to stop doing it you get hundreds of notifications a day for locations that are nowhere near you so if you want to do it, you have to stay glued to your phone and go through hundreds of notifications to see if you can get near you. Who has the time or desire to do that? When you do DoorDash, you sign up for a specific area and they only send you jobs in that area when you’re on duty for you to choose from. Not from all over the State. good concept, poor implementation.
-- Źzzzz.z, 2025-11-08

### *---- "Super slow"
Machines super slow. Not worth the time.
-- Young Lean2, 2025-11-04

### *---- "Meh"
The app is little more complicated than it needs to be and the local machines associated with the app have limited hours, are usually full, and sometimes just flat out don't work. I gave up on this thing, too much labor to reclaim 5 cents a bottle.
