I decided to get the $13.49 package. It is an absolute waste of money. They have a medication reminder. That is why I have a 7 day medication holder. That does a much better job. The app is ok, but the payments are overpriced and useless. This is coming from someone who had a BP of 224/181. So I take this very seriously. I am on meds and bought this BP monitoring machine to help. You may want this to keep track of BP. However, don’t pay a dime for any subscription. It is overpriced, which my personal opinion. Btw, I don’t want a dev responding. Otherwise, I will respond and make a more detailed report of how the BP sometimes changes and not by a little but a lot .

Although I know doctors and nurses are trying to help me, I’ve always been a little anxious during appointments. It’s the fear of being judged, I guess. Doctors had been urging me for a long time to take my own BP outside of the doctor’s office. Maybe it will be lower if you’re in a more relaxed environment. And take it often, they would say, to get averages. I’ve always hesitated buying a big old clumsy BP cuff, with the tubes and squeezing bulb thing. Yuck, that’s like having a walker and a commode standing in the corner. A friend turned me on to the Omron BP7000. The unit is small, slick, easy to use, and accurate. You can download the Omron app, so you have an ongoing record of your BP readings. It shows averages over time, in both chart and graph formats. You can export your reading histories to an Excel spreadsheet, print it, and bring it to your doctor appointments. Play with this feature a bit, ahead of time — rather than trying it when you’re headed out the door for your appointment. The doctor said, since she can see a larger sample of BP readings, she feels comfortable holding off on prescribing meds. That’s kind of what I was after — because once you get on the meds., you’re on them for good. In summary, I think the BP7000 is great. Good luck on your journey….

Works like a champ

Leaving a one star review because I use this app and I have specifically set it to not notify me of insights. Yet I continue to receive unsolicited insight notifications, even though I have set them off. please fix this, and I will be happy to modify my review.

I have used this now for over 2 years, this unit has maintained accuracy (calibrated with in house Doctor BP equipment) and has been monumental in helping me gauge my overall health to see how both weight gain and weight loss impact my blood pressure keeping me accountable and aware of my state of health. Highly recommend this product both for accuracy and ease of use!

After installing app I immediately did a reading just to see how it worked. Cuff was not on correctly but I planned on deleting the reading so it I wasn’t concerned about the numbers. Little did I know the ONLY way I can find to delete the reading is to uninstall the app!!! Before doing so I did several searches which did include instructions to delete BUT there is no letter “I” nor are there 3 dots!!! If deleting app is the ONLY to delete a reading then I see NO need to reinstall the app. I will just go back to writing the readings on paper. Thank you for NOTHING!!!

Now wants your location at all times in order to work.

App tells me that “there is a problem with the email address” - but not what that problem might be. Been uninformed that email for decades - no other app has a problem with it. Thought “maybe I used this email with Omron before - and it won’t let me set up a new account”. It’s possible - so I tried the forgot password link. It never sends me an email. Thanks guys - I guess I can put the hobbled BP monitor in the garage sale for $1 now since you won’t let me use it. Maybe the system will “like” the next owner’s email.

Works very well. Matches reading in doctor’s office. But it sometimes takes hours to update the data collected including blood pressure. This is a glitch that should be fixed.

Won't upload your data without giving the app location access. There is absolutely no reason why it needs my location to send the information to my phone. I'm returning the device to the store.
