Got the Omron Bronze 5150 and downloaded this app. Synced everything up and ran my first test. Went well. Curious, checked my BP 7 hours later and keeps saying no new readings to sync even though the machine is showing 2. Had to manually enter the data. Auto sync is on. Unpaired and repaired, no luck. Hopefully the kinks get worked out. Nice machine, same the app doesn’t work well.

Regularly loses Bluetooth pairing, requests to un-pair and re-pair, but when re-pairing, all not yet transferred data (still in the device) gets lost.

Result: every couple of weeks, I lose several days of data…

My doctor always asks me to bring my blood pressure history, showing gaps with missing data and asks why? I need to say: « sorry I am using an Omron device and their app is crappy and loses data ». 
Not really professional!

Too bad, because the Hardware is good, readings very stable and reliable. The problem is the software, maybe they need to hire more experienced software engineers able to thing about how to handle unexpected conditions, rather than just resetting and losing data!

The app rarely automatically transfers data. The BMI has been broken for a year (it looks fixed now but it didn’t go back and correct all the old ones from when they couldn’t figure out how to calculate it properly).

…another thing got worse: when I edit notes and then save, it bounces me not only out of the note editing but out of the view screen for reviewing the BP measurements.  The user is an afterthought.  They just want to sell
You a premium subscription, (and I bet they are also just selling my health information they can get, too. )

Turn ON all the restrictions you can find to allow this app to read other apps, like Apple health.  Just let it write.

I purchased the wrist BP monitor as I was genuinely concerned I was having a high BP incident and needed a second opinion.

The entire process of getting the machine to work with the app with an already heightened sense that something is wrong only became worse realizing I have to sign up to yet another service, get a million emails, and jump through several hoops to finally get a reading.  By the time I got my first reading my headache was now a migraine.

This part is not app related.  Wrist BP device was so wildly inaccurate that I ended up in urgent care thinking I was going to end up in the ER only to find out how bad these units are.

Going back to the app, after returning the unit, now I have a useless app riddled with omron marketing and another site with my personal information.

This is an app to track blood pressure. Why do I need to make an account? Why do you need a password that’s 12 characters long? Why do you need to know what state I’m in? Why is this so complicated? I’m trying to set this up for my elderly mother, and the last thing I want her to worry about is the long password that she needs just to see a few numbers

OMRON 10, been using it for years and recent update no longer connects to bluetooth.  The ⬅️➡️ that turns off and on works on all other options except and only except for just one: The BLUETOOTH. Sounds like a bug or perhaps an invitation to buy a new one. Bye OMRON.
