Suggests to switch to Orbot. I am not convinced this is a smart move. Enabling Orbot sends all traffic over Tor and is incompatible with other VPNs.

Can't the app be upgraded to a more recent Tor network SDK?

The new orbot setup keeps failing to connect and when it does, it silently disconnects while onion browser keeps working (without Tor, that is). I tried looking up my IP address after connecting Orbot to find my own IP address there. I’m not sure if circuit isolation is implemented at this time but if not, forwarding all system traffic through the same circuit may blow your anonymity. If it wasn’t already from orbot leaking all traffic outside of tor due to disconnecting. 

I strongly advise against using this app at this time.

Needs Orbod after update, this causes all trafic, including phone calls, to be routed over something that behaves like a VPN. I just want a browser to securely browse medical sites, not the routing of all network traffic. I don’t want to use two different apps for secure browsing. I don’t want my telephone calls being inaudible because of the slow network. I want the old version back.

Latest update forces users to install an additional app: orbit. This should improve speed and manage VPN connection, however, it is utter disaster. Reality is, establishing a connection became next to impossible. This renders the onion browser completely useless.

I tried browsing with it, but 9 out of 10 sites give me a cloudflare captcha that keeps reloading and can’t be completed, thus making this browser useless.

I don’t know if the problem is with the browser or cloudflare, but quite frankly, i don’t really care.
I just expect the thing to work, and right now… it doesn’t!

Like TOR browser on desktop it is secure, although slower than the Gecko-engine made browser which uses FF 91ESR as a base but it makes sense due to Apple restrictions.

Overall works wel but has sometimes issues with connecting through the Obfuscation4 bridge (Keeps connecting; network that does not throttle or block TOR) but a very good implementation despite that.

Suggestion: Add a way to disable the browser from automatically connecting to TOR, in the Desktop browser you can un-tick "connect automatically" and this allows you to manually click connect, I would greatly appreciate it if such thing could be added.
