## OnMyWay Reviews in United States

### *---- "Used to be good, now a scam"
Update: in the 5+ years I’ve used this app, I’ve watched its decline. It is now designed just to take your private/personal data and sell it to data brokers. There are no prizes worth redeeming. Only “savings cards” for hotel and travel that require additional fees and don’t offer better prices than you could find elsewhere.

Few sketchy giveaways with no clear rules or odds.

Just deleted and will not be redownloading. It’s a shame.

Old:

A $20 transfer did not appear in my bank account, so I contacted customer support and was sent the $20 via PayPal. Was a bit time-consuming but I did receive my money. Easy enough to keep in a folder in my phone and forget about it, then check my balance every once in a while.
-- metzler31, 2025-09-02

### *---- "Doesn’t even deserve a star"
This app is a scam. They “reward” you for driving safe, yet when you redeem your award it’s incredibly complicated and doesn’t even work. I did everything as the instructions said for the reward to get my account setup to be able to use it and fun fact! When you create your account through the travel agency (that your away is through) it doesn’t even let you login to your account to redeem the hotel discount/credits. Total joke of an app and would avoid it. Sounded too good to be true.
-- asdneedmoof, 2025-09-01

### *---- "Scam"
I was skeptical at first because there is a $15 activation fee. The positive reviews are fake. “Ironically” I can’t seem to activate the codes for a hotel. “24/7 customer service” doesn’t actually exist.
-- ghcx ah, 2025-08-19

### **--- "Does what it’s supposed too, but rewards are useless."
I have been using this app for years now. Saved up around $6000 “dollars”. You used to be able to cash out x amount of money, redeem gift cards, and other useful items. Now they offer ‘scammy’ hotel discounts and airfare/trips and the fine print makes the whole thing even more expensive than you’d book elsewhere. The Range Rover and cash sweepstakes has been going on for months, and no updates to any of the “deals”. I’m not sure the future of this app, but it’s becoming more disappointing as it goes on. (Pay attention to the lower star reviews.)
-- OrionOreos, 2025-07-29

### *---- "Scam"
Don’t cash in the rewards it’s a scam. Wouldn’t let me use the points I cashed in for savings on the hotel. The next step wouldn’t proceed to let me log in to claim the points. Save yourself the trouble!
-- Yeah it’s true, 2025-07-20

### *---- "yeah, no"
lots of fake reviews. read the ones on google play
-- N.Essay, 2025-07-19

### *---- "Waste of time"
This app/program is very misleading. You can’t get money back, you can not purchase gift cards with points, and you never win anything.

You can ‘buy’ discounts to hotels etc with pints that end up costing you more and being highly restrictive.

I consider this a scam.
-- joni7310, 2025-06-30

### *---- "Such a waste. Used to be good."
I used to use this app a lot before the initial AI update.

The app used to allow users to cash out their OMY dollars to gas & restaurants deals.

Now it’s all resorts, flights and NFTs/crypto (I heard it’s not that reliable.)
-- Truth seeker 2387, 2025-06-16

### *---- "Not a fan"
Tried to claim some of my rewards for a hotel, it was VERY difficult to figure out and I saved up all these points, but it’s only a small discount for a room, so don’t think it’s free.
-- Freeman273, 2025-06-13

### *---- "Disappointing"
I wouldn’t mind if I was out on free gift cards but I’ve paid fees for this not to work. I go to the other website and it keeps giving me an error. I call support and they says “we can’t do anything” it says I’m a member but it won’t let me in at all.
