When I used the alternative route option I had to save and name the route which had its own silliness. I will delete this app and go back to google. Way to much complication for an app you tend to use only when parked at the side of the road looking for a way home. -- Mistinagon, 2025-02-18 ### *---- "App" I have to close app every time to reset to get a responds, also app freezes up to offer -- coffee_mumpose, 2025-02-18 ### *---- "Not accurate" Never rely on the 511 app for road updates. I ended up with highway closure tickets because the app failed to update on time. It’s completely unreliable and can cost you money. -- Arjandeep, 2025-02-01 ### *---- "Poor app" Extremely unreliable. The app is not maintained. The best way to use Ontario 511 is to google it and observe road conditions that way. The app should be updated or removed from the App Store. DON’T RELY ON THE APP STORE VERSION -- MisterZ71, 2025-01-29 ### **--- "Not reliable" Sat in road closures for major pileups with no mention on 511 until more than four hours after the fact. Not reliable at all. -- Rythmjunky, 2024-12-10 ### *---- "No more road conditions" They used to have road conditions on the app along with plow information. Now only available on their website. -- Highway 144, 2024-12-04 ### *---- "Terrible and dangerous" The Ont 511 app is useless and dangerous. We just had the worst storm in decades with many roads closed for days- 1 metre of snow and the app map didn’t show closures. Why aren’t closed roads highlighted in red when closed??? I know many people who were trapped on highway 11 in multiple closures. ( after checking 511 and not seeing any warnings or closures.) Some were stuck for 12 hours with one town declaring a state of emergency and NOTHING clearly marked on 511. Delete this app- it’s actually dangerous. -- Nicknamed ch, 2024-12-02 ### *---- "Can't log in" Created an account and can log in on the web but keep getting "failed Login" message with this app. Bettor off using website and follow Ontario511 on X for latest updates. -- Mikeybc31, 2024-11-12 ### ****- "great app" needs a bit more work in some areas developers but its great so far -- JVo12, 2024-08-21 ### ****- "Useful app, distracting animations" The app itself is useful. It provides road closure, traffic, hazards and other info. Accessing traffic cameras is also useful (even though it would be helpful if they indicated which way the cameras were facing, so you could know which lanes were N/S or E/W). The only reason why I’m rating 4 stars is because of the pointless animations on the map and menu page that are distracting and detract from the app experience. -- Pierre.a.roy, 2024-07-19 [View all Ontario 511 reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Ontario 511 Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Canada | Travel | #26 | ## Ontario 511 Discovered Keywords - 511 - 511 app - 511 new brunswick - ontario511 - ontario 511 - 511 ontario - ontario road conditions - canada 511 - 511 on - road conditions ## Apps Similar to Ontario 511 - [Green P](https://apptail.io/app/green-p-ekb/canada) - [Petro-Canada](https://apptail.io/app/petro-canada-tve/canada) - [VIA Rail Canada](https://apptail.io/app/via-rail-canada-Esh/canada) - [Esso and Mobil™ App](https://apptail.io/app/esso-and-mobil-app-COh/canada) - [Parks Canada App](https://apptail.io/app/parks-canada-app-MTl/canada) - [Journie Rewards](https://apptail.io/app/journie-rewards-vkq/canada) - [Park’N Fly Canada](https://apptail.io/app/parkn-fly-canada-QZF/canada) - [Go Snowmobiling Ontario](https://apptail.io/app/go-snowmobiling-ontario-CISb/canada) - [407 ETR](https://apptail.io/app/407-etr-FZSb/canada) - [Porter Airlines](https://apptail.io/app/porter-airlines-kbzm/canada) ## Ontario 511 Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/ontario-511-DZSb/canada) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/ontario-511-DZSb/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
