When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections. The App includes 3,805 species of plants found in Ontario. Very awkward to use wirh IPhone. It is based on your inputting by crosshairs, your location but it then warns that it doesn’t work well with IPhone. I need something that works with my cell. This app only covers about 20% of Ontario, being Southern Ontario, and north shore of Lake Huron. It’s too bad, because one of the cool features is that it considers location when identifying plants. Anyway, still many of same flora in rest of Ontario, but you just won’t get location as an aid to identification for most of the province.
