Oolimo Guitar Chords Reviews

This app is perfect for songwriters

jpwillis269 on

As a guitar player this is a useful tool for learning. As a songwriter transcribing and trying to do so accurately this is a must have ! I find a lot of chord voicings that fit but I don’t always know the correct name. Having an app that I can put in my fingering and it gives me the chord name and potential other names based on what key you are playing has really helped me when writing the chord charts for new songs out!

Way to make this app better

I like saving the guitar chords I’m using • but sadly there’s only 9 slots • I would like more • I’m using so many rnd tunings • gonna need more than 9 • would like to have an endless amount of slots instead of having to delete and make room for new slots

A Great App

Oolimo has helped me sooooo much. As a self taught guitarist and musician this app has been the best for someone like me. I do know chord names and shapes. As a writer I find my own chords that are unidenfiable at times. This app not only shows the chord shape and the sound but also the key, root and notes which has really helped me to identify notes and chord placement. Thank you, thank you for developing the great app!

This app is so useful and educational. There are other apps like this out there, but none are as good and as intuitive as this one. I am using the online version a lot as a guitar student and it’s great having a mobile app too for when I’m away from the big screen. Thank you for developing this app!

Used the website and then instantly went to buy the app

I found the website and it was so nice that I instantly went looking for the app. One time payment happily spent! It teaches you how the chords are built and which notes are what part of the chord so it not only helps you name them but helps you learn why it is named what it is. Must have guitar app

Please add ability to save favorite chords

I absolutely love this app but I’d love to be able to save any chord I make in the analyzer as a favorite so I can easily pull it up later.

Can’t say enough good about this. I tune in straight fourths, and it supports that. I’ve tried lots of chord apps, and love this one. Thanks to the developer(s)!
