When creating a block list, the app crashes. Makes it rather unusable. This happens not just for the “other” category but for almost any app I try to select or search for. Strong concept but this bug makes it unusable.
Exactly what I needed to break the cycle of spending 5 hours a day mindlessly scrolling. I can still take breaks but consciously and with a time limit. Brilliant!
Since last update the app is extremely slow. Apps that are locked need to be reopened multiple times before I get prompted to use them
I love the app, but there is a button unblock all apps right now that I’d like to be removed, I’m using that button all the time to stop my session.
Je krijgt een duidelijk inzicht hoeveel tijd je onbewust spendeert op je telefoon en niet productief bent. Door de app blokkade die je zelf instelt op apps die zorgen voor veel afleiding heb ik een betere focus en heb ik meer tijd voor dingen die er echt toe doen ipv nutteloos scrollen

I have never written a review but this app is dysfunction half of the time. I tried all the solutions in the faq. Asked for help. “Support team is out for the week”. I paid 100.- for a year. I mean you would expect some kind of functional product and customer service…
I try to overcome my phone addicition with this app, its very helpfull and easy to use. My screentime went down a lot already
€100 for not even a permanent but only a year of this app is absolutely insane. if you buy it for only school months its €200. Says a lot about what they really care about..
Opal is heavily overpriced, whilst having major flaws. One flaw, for example, is the consistent crashing of the app/site selection screen (to choose what you want on your block list). They say they raised this with Apple, but this issue has been there for more than a year and so far there is no workaround, meaning I cannot block some major time consuming apps/sites. Unacceptable for the price.
