I find that the service provides a reasonable selection of qualified clients. Yes, there is a service fee, but there is no monthly charge which means they only get compensated when they provide a closable transaction so they’re motivated to provide good opportunities.

I will start off with saying I had a great experience using Opcity at first. I closed with the first lead I got. I’ve been using Opcity for a year and a half and I have gotten 4 closings and 1 current listing because of it. However, there are many things I really dislike about Opcity and need change. Straight up, I’ve had leads tell me that the Opcity agents push them to lie about their buying timeframe. This is very unprofessional of Opcity and makes me not trust them or want to use them anymore. Next, I’ve noticed it gives my fellow agents better advantages as far as location. I would be standing next to my fellow agent as she would be getting a lead in Clovis, CA, where we live, but I never got that notification. Instead, I would only get leads an hour away from where I lived. Opcity needs to make it more fair for other agents to get leads who are in certain areas and also closer to them. Opcity also raised their referral fees too high. It used to be 30% for normal leads and 35% for “platinum” leads. They now raised both of those an additional 5%. I’ve had platinum leads change their budget, and I’m still stuck with the 40% referral fee of a $65,000 deal. Opcity needs to significantly reevaluate how they do businesses. To me, it seems like they are taking advantage of agents, being very greedy, and dishonest. It’s just another reason why the term “Realtor” has lost value.
