This app does exactly what you’d expect. It tracks GPS, saves it to a file, and allows easy export.
Better than a Garmin
I love this app! I’ve used it on a bunch of backpacking trips all over the world and it has never let me down. Bugs are far and few in between, there are some but meh. It’s nice knowing I have a solid map in my pocket!
Does not open GPX. Can only track
If you have a GPX you can’t use this app to open it.

Import GPX files?
How do you import GPX files? There is no option that I see
Best waypoint tracker ever
I have field tested this app in rural Mississippi this app beats every other single waypoint app I could find great job!
Excellent app
This is a real well thought out app with the perfect set of features for recording GPX files. This is exactly the app I would have designed myself. I use it to record my hikes and upload data to open street map.
Very nice App, but
Easy to use and appears to be very accurate. I use it to mark locations of trees to preserve on construction sites. One issue however. When I write out a GPX file it seems to forget the decimal point in some of the longitudes. I am able to add them back in with a text editor which is very time consuming. Sure would be nice if it didn’t have to do that.
