Vielleicht ist mein iOS falsch konfiguriert oder die Apps falsch programmiert. Dass Links nicht standardmäßig in ihrer „Heimat“-App geöffnet werden, ist ein Riesenschmerz für mich. 
Opener füllt diese Lücke: statt öffnen wählt man teilen, dort als App „Opener“ und kann dann wählen, wo der Link landen soll. 
Ohne Opener öffnet sich ein Browser, der hat vielleicht noch die Einblendung „in App öffnen“, aber häufig ist der Link dann nicht mehr „deep“ und man landet auf einer Startseite. Eine Tragödie!

VLC wird im Opener-Menü nicht angezeigt, sowohl aber als Unterstützt angegeben. 

Frage mich aber grundsätzlich nach dem Sinn dieser App? Alle in Opener aufgeführten Apps besitzen Deep Links und sind von ,Haus aus‘ direkt ansteuerbar.

Ich liebe diese App – aber seitdem ich Chrome als Standardbrowser eingestellt habe, bringt „in der Safari-App öffnen“ leider gar nichts mehr. Es wird dennoch in Chrome geöffnet. Ist es möglich, das zu ändern? Manchmal möchte ich bewusst Sachen in Safari öffnen – oder eben auch nicht.
