No automatic link to Apple Pay and then manually had to put in credit card details. So poor and slow

I’ve been using this app for the past couple years now and have had no issues whatsoever as the booking process has been flawless. However, as of recently the app does not let you book anything regardless if you sign out and book as guest or through your account. Its so frustrating! Because the app got you feeling comfortable with the convenience of a push of a button to book a table but now it leaves you no choice but to revert back to traditional methods such as calling up the restaurant and in some cases being put on hold or waiting for the phone to pick up. I don’t tend to leave reviews but this honestly needs urgent attention as nothing has changed despite these updates.

Why do you need to send two codes to me? And why is the website systematically lost when I go to check my email for Your code and I have to start from scratch?

Eaten here before but this was a first for Sunday lunch. Excellent location on lively Newcastle Quayside, big airy dining room with a warm welcome and good wine list. Exceptionally good….. menu big enough for varied choices and crab starter with mint chutney full of zinging fresh flavours. Main course of perfectly tender roast beef with all the trimmings, special mention for the cheesy leeks. Rhum baba to finish light and full of taste. And this at a very reasonable price point. Highly recommended - I will be returning.

This system is absolutely diabolical in its process and is clearly not been designed for any practical use for anybody that does not have 29mins to book a table that should take 2 mins.
