All was great on older iOS versions. It will only work on the first initial loading of the app. After you close it, it will not load again until a reboot. Update: after deleting the vpn profile and import the import, the app work properly again.
Same client config will work just fine on a a PC. However on IOS with identical config, client will connect to server, but just sits idle. No communication. Doing further troubleshooting, it looks like the IOS version of OpenVPN receives but silently ignore ROUTE directives for some reasons. So a tunnel gets established, but the iPad doesn’t know what to do with it, so no traffic flows through that tunnel. I confirm that an identical client config works just fine on a PC, with the Windows version of OpenVPN client. That hints me that your IOS client is buggy and needs fixing. It used to work fine (last year in 2023) , but it’s frustrating to discover that it’s not functional… while on travel… :(
This is very good vpn in my country but I pay much for it monthly🌻🖤
When update to 3.4.2, vpn profile connect to the server but default route can’t injected. In this ver can’t access to the remote network when vpn connected

The clients direct from the OpenVPN team are always reliable, and on iOS they are much preferred over the less refined apps put out by some VPN providers.
3.4.0 does not work with Firewalla red, but 3.4.1 does work perfectly… please don’t touch again… LoL
Uploading the .ovpn file is easy. But when you do it tells you that you are missing other files and to upload them simultaneously…. When I select all required files and try to open them with the OpenVPN app, it doesn’t work. The app option doesn’t appear as if it doesn’t recognize the other files. Talking about the .crt and .key files
NORDVPN said I had to use this when Nord stopped working on my iPad. They gave me vague instructions that never got me anywhere except more frustrated! For example, telling me to enter my Nord credentials, but not the ones I use to login to Nord…
