## OPL Mobile Reviews in Canada

### ***-- "Okay sometimes, crashes a lot"
For goodness sakes have an option to turn on push notifications. As someone who doesn’t use email enough it would be way better if there was app notifications.
-- AiseyDaisyDuke, 2024-07-24

### **--- "Never works on the first try"
Constantly running into errors when trying to view my books on hold/pause. Search functionality isn’t great.
-- ahewkojpeg, 2024-07-20

### *---- "Logs me out, I log in, logs me out, I log in, and on and on"
For the love of all that is holy, fix the issue that keeps logging users out.
-- orangesurfer, 2024-01-23

### ****- "Good, but…"
A recent update has taken away info about the series that a book is within. I used to put a hold for the next in the series through the handy ordered list provided, but that has been removed which has me baffled. Sure, feel free to add more relevant info, but don’t remove something so useful. SMH.
-- Nuban, 2023-09-14

### *---- "New update - less used"
The new update requires to enter your login every time you open the app. I use to frequently use the app now it’s painful to use. It effects my use of the library in a negative way. The bar code scanning feature also doesn’t work. I’m very disappointed with the new update and hope the issues are fixed.
-- Cupcakeandtea2, 2023-06-07

### *---- "Can’t see my books"
I used to be able to see the books I have checked out, the ones ready for pickup etc but I can’t any more. The search still works but that’s about it. Used to be 5 star but now one star is generous.
-- fireballxl8, 2023-06-03

### ***** "Login problem fixed"
The problem with having to renter login credentials repeatedly has been fixed. The app wasn’t updated so I guess the problem was at the server end.
-- neilredding, 2023-05-12

### **--- "Used to be good"
I’m not sure what they changed a few months ago but now I have to log in every time I open the app with my user ID and password. Very annoying and slow. Sometimes the app doesn’t connect at all. I’ve been using the app for years and it used to be good. What happened?
-- booknerdie, 2023-05-11

### **--- "Too many hands ??"
The format of this site changes more often than any I have ever been on. I suspect too many government staff are well-paid to "look after" this site. Yet errors continue; e.g. a function doesn't work so I have to exit and re-enter, the look of the home page changes, the home page will decide to show me only new books and suggested books in French rather than in English....

Worst of all and very very very annoying is that we have to enter our user name and PIN each and every time we use it !!!
It's just a library, not a bank. No other site makes us do that. I have asked two different staff at different times. One said he didn't know why. The other said "for security reasons".
-- zichrona, 2023-05-02

### **--- "Re-start"
I have to re-start my iPad/iPhone and re-enter my password every time I want to view my information pages. I wrote to inform them of this a couple of months ago and even though there has just been an update, I still have the same problems. All the update seems to have achieved is the landscape option has disappeared.
