Scam-like service – avoid Opodo Prime at all costs!
I purchased a flight via Kiwi and unknowingly ended up subscribed to Opodo Prime. I never authorized any membership, yet Opodo charged me €104.63 in 2024 and again €117.77 in 2025 – without any warning, reminder, or visible confirmation.

I never received any benefit from this “membership,” and when I tried to cancel, the website redirected me to the homepage – no confirmation, no cancellation, nothing. It’s like a trap.

I never paid via PayPal, just a regular card, so they somehow kept my payment details and charged me again after a year. My bank told me they couldn’t help since it was an online payment.

Opodo’s customer service is a joke. No refund, no useful contact, no accountability. This is either highly irresponsible or intentionally deceitful behavior.

Avoid this company at all costs. Their Prime membership is just a hidden subscription scam.

I encountered an unclear and confusing issue when attempting online check-in via the Opodo app for a flight from Austria to Spain. The app denied check-in, citing: “Advance check-in requests can’t be processed by this airline for this nationality.”

This message is vague and potentially misleading, especially given that the airline’s website allowed check-in without problems. This suggests the issue lies with Opodo’s system, rather than any official airline or regulatory restriction.

I strongly recommend that Opodo clarifies their messaging to avoid confusion and any unintended implications. The current wording is unprofessional and could easily be perceived negatively by users.

Beware of Opodo App. They lure you with great prices until you come to the payment screen. There, a service fee and a payment fee (which is ALWAYS) will be added, which changes a 32€ ticket from the search list to a 65€ one. Better try another app which shows final price already from the beginning.
