## Optimum TV Reviews in United States

### **--- "Service"
New fiber is worst and prices more expensive without getting better service
-- Sweet Lou11, 2025-01-02

### *---- "Optimum app has many problems"
More often than not I can’t watch my television programs on my iPhone in my own home. It can be very very slow to load and then if it starts to air the program it very often quickly thereafter freezes up. I’ve tried rebooting and reloading the app and various other suggested fixes or workarounds with no success. Sometimes (less than 20% of the time it works without issues. It is very unreliable and frustrating particularly when there is a live program that I really want to watch and the app lets me down.
I have tried to call and speak with a technician or manager and the way that the customer service system is set up is is apparent that they just want to wear you down in your effort to get help rather than speak with you.
This is NOT THE CASE with any of my other apps including but not limited to, Netflix, Prime Video and several others.
I wish that Altice would hear what I’m saying and I am joined by many many others, and pledge to fix this problem in the first quarter of 2025, not because it does or doesn’t matter to your bottom line (although I believe in the long run it does) but because you can show that you care about your customers and you care how your company and its reputation is viewed by the people who you serve…….

### **--- "Remote control"
This app doesn’t work as a remote control to charge channels on your TV
-- RockStarBob, 2024-12-26

### ***-- "does not work properly for live streaming"
i used this app for a few years with no issues. as of the past few months i can only watch a live tv show for a few minutes without the stream freezing. i am in my home and connected to optimum internet when this happens. i use the app for watching shows that i have dvr’d with no issue. It’s frustrating that i can’t watch live tv anymore on my phone as i work full time and have 2 small children who keep me very busy. catching the news on my phone while cooking dinner was something i looked forward too. i hope this is a big in the app that can be fixed soon!

### *---- "Can’t login"
When I try to login, the app tells me I need Optimum internet to proceed. I have Optimum Internet already. App is worthless when you can’t login!

-- shine252, 2024-12-10

### *---- "Where is fox and newsmax on demand"
I want to see fox news and newsmax shows on demand
-- Pmax12, 2024-12-04

### ***-- "No PiP, but otherwise good"
How does this app STILL not have PiP? Otherwise works pretty well.
-- bvkid87, 2024-11-30

### ***** "Two things I don’t like"
1. The icons on the guide are too small. Not by much but they need to be a little larger.
2. Not being able to stop and rewind is a big negative. Big negative…
