I am writing to share my disappointment with the Oral-B app’s side detection feature. Despite brushing on the left side of my mouth, the app consistently displays activity on the right side. Given that the Oral-B iO brush is priced around ₹16,000, I expected a more accurate and reliable performance. Unfortunately, the app’s functionality is comparable to a ₹10 product. Additionally, I attempted to provide this feedback on your website, only to find that the feedback page has been under maintenance for an extended period.
Brush/App aren’t working properly
I’ve been using the iO for more than a year now and in the recent times started noticing that the app is acting weird. When brushing on right side the app shows the left side is being cleaned and vice versa! It gets very difficult to undo this or to achieve “100% cleaning”.
BIGGEST COMPLAINT ABOUT THE DEVICE ITSELF IS THAT IT STOPS WORKING WHEN IT REACHES 50% BATTERY LEVEL! I CAN CLEARLY SEE THERE IS BATTERY LEFT BUT IT JUST WONT TURN ON! VERY FRUSTRATING!
I wondered why an app for brushing teeth
The app was so easy to setup and use! It is so cool and I highly recommended anyone who uses oral b to install this app. It makes brushing teeth fun 😊
Position detection is inaccurate
Position detection is inaccurate. The brush position is not detected towards left. I have reset the brush to no avail.
App is not working as shown in snapshots
It’s not recording the time and places covered correctly.
