Update 4/11/24: app is not syncing with Health. Doesn’t always record unguided sessions. Have done all the troubleshooting. Frustrating. 

App leaves a lot to be desired. Agree with other reviewers about the accuracy of the app - just brushed for 2:49 and spent extra time on the sides of the jaw but the app didn’t register anything for those quadrants. The brush is great - def feel like I’m getting a better clean. The app needs work.

In principle this should be a great app. In practice the use of the phone camera and AI to track brushing (especially in back corners of the mouth)  is inconsistent and inaccurate. I am no longer bothering to use the app

I consciously did all my teeth for 2mins yet the app guide said I only cleaned 77%.
With the tongue cleaning part there was no timer for when cleaning the tongue.

The app looks great, has strong features and seems well designed. Unfortunately this is all let down by really poor position detection during brushing. No matter what I do I cannot get the stupid app to recognise when I’m brushing the top right quadrant of my mouth. I spend extra time on it and KNOW it’s getting cleaned out but never get scored for it. This totally skews coaching tips and ruins the whole app experience. Really frustrating and a big let down considering it’s designed to accompany a relatively expensive luxury product.

The app is very rigid and not really smart. The stupid app starts the timer even when you are trying to just wash the brush! The AI is average at best, and it’s not really AI, it’s just assumes where you are (totally unnecessary, but interesting feature), and goes wrong a lot of time. I have to re-brush to convince the app that I have brushed that spot! I’m scared of getting a poor score with my $500+ brush!!!
Work on making the app a bit more customisable and user-friendly🤦🏻‍♂️. Remember this is accompaniment to a $500+ brush!
